Friend & I flew in on Fri to do a Sat run to Leadville. Jill went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. From use of the courtesy car to eating recommendations we could not have been treated any better. Great place to stop in.

Our Denver ultralight club held our annual Barnstorm event again this year in Buena Vista. We had three planes. Jill (Miss Congeniality) and Dave extended every courtesy. Jill found hangar space at a fair price and drove us into town upon arrival. A social event was held in the FBO to get locals and visitors acquainted. Cookies and coffee were usually available. There are many reasons why seven out of twenty Barnstorms have been held in Buena Vista and the airport is one big reason.

This past weekend, we had to juggle borrowing the courtesy car, renting bicycles and accomplishing a minor maintenance task. Through it all, Jill was energetic, engaged and enthusiastic. It was obvious she loves aviation. We greatly appreciated her offers of help and willingness to accommodate. I've been traveling through BV for many years since a small child. But, until this last weekend, have always basically passed through. This past weekend, we discovered great restaurants, lodging, points of interest and activities. We even took time for a haircut! None of this would have happened without the airport. Great airport!

Came to BV in our Baron for some rafting. The airport manager was there and came out to help us...Even brought us our rental car. He was very friendly. Fuel was reasonably priced. A very good experience.

Visited Buena Vista this weekend in the cub 172. The runway is VERY smooth! The staff at the FBO was very friendly. Marshaled us into the self-serve pumps. Their public use computer was down, but they let me use the computer behind the desk. They even pumped our fuel for us at the self-serve pumps as a courtesy! We enjoyed our visit and will be back again.

Buena Vista airport just got resurfaced and the results are awesome! Bob Johnson is very proactive and immensely helpful. The airport is always staffed and provides full services, including courtesy car along with rental cars. Hangars are available for transients and plenty of secure tie downs. This is a great place to visit!

You could not ask for a nicer place to fly into...It is beautiful, Bob and Jill are the greatest to help you in any way you could ever imagine. Anything you ever need they are more than happy to help. Thank you Bob and Jill for everything.
