Landed on a Sunday when they were closed, but a number on the door had someone out in 5 minutes to give us blue juice at $5.36/gal. Great for a quick, cheap fuel stop.

Discovered KAFK on the last trip coming back from KCDW in NJ to KWJF in California in our Citation 551. It's almost exactly halfway on a great circle route. Although we were running a bit late, the friendly folks were there waiting for us at dusk with fuel and a crew car to go into town for some great BBQ. Small towns and small town airports are a wonderful way to make a fuel/food stop, and this one is no exception. Thanks, guys, for your help and a memorable stop. We'll see you again!
