Come to this FBO often. Staff and line department is always helpful. Have only had one iffy experience here on a game day. USC and GA Game. One of the desk staff was less than friendly with me and other crews that were there. Really short and snappy attitude. I know there is alot going on on a game day but customer service should know no boundaries especially when we are ALL paying customers. The staff member that closed that night was super nice and she was doing everyhing by here self and didn't have a bad attitude. Glad she came in. Thanks Sarah! We will see you next time!

Stopped by for fuel en route to Sarasota. These folks get it. Tower, lineman, FBO staff—all friendly and professional. They even had hot coffee (three kinds in a clean, attractive area). The tower controller also invited me to come back and see them again on departure. That I will and I'll tell others of my experience. What a great airport.

Flew into Athens to pick up a passenger and quick turn around. A friendly lineman on the ramp near the entrance promptly parked us. The facility is very nice. We could not take on more fuel due to our increasing load so we passed on fuel. So, the nice lady charged us $15 "facility fee" for single engine piston. We guess that is OK but unexpected from a government owned and operated airport terminal. Just make sure you use as much "facility" as you can before you leave. ATC is professional and very helpful. You won't find better controllers!

Stopped for fuel on our way from central IN to central east coast of FL, and on way home as well. Line/fuel guys were helpful and friendly. Beautiful FBO. Desk staff efficient, not necessarily outgoing. Hope to have occasion to stop again.

Always such a pleasant airport to visit.... The staff is always very pleasant and they always treat the transients with kindness and courtesy. The Facilities are very modern in regards to WX info.... Please keep up the great work......

Flew in on a flight from CHS for some touch-and-go's. Friendly controllers. Last month I visited in a P28A without a marshal to park and no greeting at the front desk. Maybe my next visit to Bulldog VOR will be different.

Had to make an emergency landing there on the way to NC (cracked cyl and bad mag). Everyone was very helpful. They met us with a fire truck and towed our plane to the mx facility. Got a Hertz rental and were on our slow way in no time. Rob at Aero Services had our plane ready over the weekend. Thanks Guys.

Here's to the helpful folks at Athens Aircenter, Ben Epps Airport, Athens, GA (KAHN). Flying back from Daytona Beach to KRHP on April 1st, 2007, I decided not to risk the reports of embedded thunderstorm cells, rain, and low ceilings in the NC mountains, and put in at KAHN, thinking I could get a rental car. The young lady at Athens Air desk made a number of calls for me trying to find a rental. After a couple of hours, I was finally able to get a car from Hertz when someone canceled, and I got home late that afternoon. Returning on the following Tuesday, I was expecting to pay two nights tie-down, but was pleasantly surprised to find that my purchase of 10 gallons of avgas took care of any tie-down charge! Very nice facilities, excellent flight planning resources and lounge for the pilots, and helpful, friendly folks at Athens Aircenter. Also, Dara at Hertz was very helpful as well!
