Larry set up my use of a courtesy van for arrival after hours. Fuel price best on a round trip from FL to West Coast. Just what a small town airport should be.

Since we were treated so well four months ago, we stayed overnight again for a fuel and BBQ stop with our C340. Larry and Roy took great care again. Great place for fuel stop or overnight. The Best Western is in walking distance to the BBQ. For the Waldon Plantation you need a car but it is a great place to relax for a day between flights.

Another great visit to Llano. Roy greeted me at the pump and helped me fuel the plane. He asked what they could do better. I told him they did great work and appreciated the service.

KAQO is a great stop - the fuel is VERY reasonable, the facilities are immaculate and the staff is very friendly. I liked the "Blues Brothers" crew car, and I can recommend Cooper's Barbeque and the Days Inn with no hesitation.

I've been a "regular" customer in & out of Llano for 6 years now and cannot say enough about the personal/professional service that Larry Cook provides to his "customers"! He's always looking out for his patrons and their aircraft. Even called one time when we didn't arrive as scheduled to check if we were all ok! So, if you’re looking for friendly service, low cost fuel and great Bar-B-Q this is the place! Thanks Larry!!

Excellent stop. Roy helped me "self serve" low priced 100LL into our RV6X while we shared Veteran stories. After a quick apprehension of the Crown Vic CC, we were off to the legendary Coopers BBQ for a smoked meat overload! Great stop, cheap gas, friendly folks (and dogs), good food and hospitality! What more can you ask?

Decided to stop at this airport on our way back to California from New Orleans based on the reviews on this site and I am glad we stopped! We were greeted by friendly staff that gave us keys to a crew car and directions to the local BBQ restaurant. This was some of the best BBQ I have ever had! Llano also had the cheapest gas on our trip. I will make a point of stopping here on any cross-country trip I make in the future.

Kudos to AQO for managing an invasion of multiple Thorp T-18s and a few T-6s on the way to a BBQ lunch. They greeted us with a smile, a handshake and the keys to a van that we managed to stuff 17 men into to make a BBQ run.

I made flight to Llano as build up time flight for comm license. Some flight instructor recommended me to go to city for old style BBQ. I've got a courtesy car (used to be a police interceptor :)) in no time. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nice little airport. Be aware of gliders activity in vicinity as there is a second turf runway used for towing gliders. Fuel price is little lower then in San Antonio. Will fly again if have a chance.   Great stop, service and prices to top off my tanks before heading home to Austin. Roy was great. "We try to make general aviation more affordable." They certainly do.
