I made flight to Llano as build up time flight for comm license. Some flight instructor recommended me to go to city for old style BBQ. I've got a courtesy car (used to be a police interceptor :)) in no time. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nice little airport. Be aware of gliders activity in vicinity as there is a second turf runway used for towing gliders. Fuel price is little lower then in San Antonio. Will fly again if have a chance.   Great stop, service and prices to top off my tanks before heading home to Austin. Roy was great. "We try to make general aviation more affordable." They certainly do.

Met Llano Larry while making a quick stop for gas in my thirsty twin Piper. Stayed at The Hangar Hotel at Fredericksburg the night before but didn't want to pay their exorbitant fuel prices so we flew up to Llano. Great little airport, and excellent service. Thanks.

Great FBO and fuel price. Stopped for fuel on way to College Station from Midland. Was greeted by Larry who helped at the self-serve pump. Told him we would be back through the next day and was strongly encouraged to take the courtesy van to Cooper's BBQ. We did and we weren't sorry! These guys are fantastic and run an FBO the way it should be run. Will make this my new stop when in the area.

Great airport! Friendly folks, clean facilities, good fuel prices, and plenty of parking places. Haven't tried the grass field, but the paved strip is in excellent shape.

This is a wonderful place to stop...Real west Texas and some of the nicest airport folks you will find. Larry takes great care of his customers. Great fuel prices. Be sure to borrow the courtesy car and head for Coopers BBQ. Mighty good also!

Llano and Coopers. Coopers and Llano. They go togather ever so nicely. Car is available or Coopers will come after you if arrangements are made. Hangars are often available for overnight. Fuel prices are good. Stop in you will be pleased with AQO. Roy and Larry are helpful and customer oriented.

Landed here Sunday, 9-20. Easy place for self-service gas, in and out muy pronto. Wife reported clean restrooms and nice facility. I liked the super clean ramp and run-up area (no FOD). Great scenery around this area for weekend flying adventures.

Been there to have a BBQ at Cooper's in May and back there in July for a ferry flight to take back a Cessna, which previously had a magneto failure. Very nice airport, very nice FBO and very very very kind people. I already miss all of that. If you pass in the vicinity you must stop there! If not, the place worth a trip for sure! Greetings from Italy. Ciao.

Great service, great fuel price. Larry and Kathy are both very helpful. Nice runway and comfortable terminal. If you're in this part of Texas this is the airport to stop at.

During our stopover beginning of March 2005 with our Seaplane on our "flying west adventure" from Florida to Arizona we received an exceptional warm welcome and enjoyed Larry Cooks hospitality as well as runways and FBO in best condition. Thanks a lot. We highly recommend this place.
