We stopped in twice in one day to pick-up and drop-off a passenger. The linemen met us and spotted our plane on the north end of the ramp and drove us back to the terminal in a golf cart. The terminal is a very nice facility. The staff were very courteous. They have a volume discount for fuel purchases, and gave me the same discount for a 10 gal. purchase! All of this while they were servicing large jets (we're a Beech Musketeer). We had a slight delay due to taxiway improvements, but the local pilots extended their pattern-work to let us out. Nice airport and a good alternative to KMEM when traveling to Memphis.

AWM was my fuel stop coming and going this weekend. Refueled both times at the self-service pump. Easy to operate and figure out. Nice FBO building with clean restrooms and free movie-theater popcorn. People around the airport were friendly and chatty. Self-service pump is on the north end of the ramp, north of the FBO building. Good price. Ramps/taxiways adjacent to the south end of the runway are being replaced (October 7-8, 2006), so watch out for back-taxies.

Stopped in yesterday .. Nice airport with friendly staff. Helped us with directions to restaurant in Memphis. Highly recommend as an alternate to KMEM.

We stopped in here on an overnight during the week prior to Christmas. These folks were the most polite, friendly, and helpful FBO staff I have ever visited. The following morning, they were hosting their company Christmas party, and allowed us to partake with a HUGE Christmas dinner. Much appreciated, and look forward to coming back!

On our trip back from Oshkosh to SW Florida, we thought we might stop at Memphis to visit Graceland... During the whole trip we only had friendly people except those at West Memphis FBO... Cold coffe .. dirty silverware ... as I ask where I could find clean silverware, the female manager pointed to the restrooms... Well no Internet Access for pilots because they're afraid of viri... The only guy who was helpful was the old fuel guy and the cat is also very sweet... Fuel price was good as well, but anything else ...
