A big thank you to Cody and Jason. I was traveling from Indiana to Florida for a family trip and stopped for fuel at 4:30pm. Then we had a starter fail. This could not have happened at a better airport. Cody offered his vehicle to my family for dinner and Jason arrived after a phone call from his wife. Keep in mind this was Friday at 4:30pm. To make a long story short, tools were made available as well as a loaner starter, and continued my trip at 8:00pm. I later returned the starter on the return flight and bought more fuel. You can't get this kind of service at many large airports, but you sure can at Hazlehurst. I will be back just for fuel...I hope...

Stopped in on our way to and from Batavia, OH. The FBO was clean and opened at that hour. There is .50 cents soda and cracker based on the honor system. Fuel prices of 2.99 cannot be beat. Landing is a bit of seat of your pants. All in all a great place to stop for fuel and a rest.

I flew in for fuel on 6 May 2009 in a Cherokee 140 from 54J. Received excellent service at the pumps but had a problem with the starter engaging the flywheel. I was rushed into the hangar and assisted the mechanic with removal of everything to access the starter. 3 hours later it was finished and I was on my way to KDYB!! They even have a free bunk for a night if you need it! (And the fuel was $ 2.99 gal!!) This was an amazing experience to encounter such a professional staff. Thanks Jason!

Made AZE a fuel stop on my way to and from Jekyll Island on 11/08/08 at 1035 EST. Self-server worked fine. The FBO was open. Weather available. However, I did not find a people nor did I find an Internet connection. Still, the FBO was open, comfortable, and clean. 50-cent soda. I would consider this stop again.

I stopped at Hazlehurst to get some Jet A for my King Air E-90 a few weeks ago. The line guys were great and did every thing they could to assist me in fueling my aircraft. They were cordial and very helpful. You have a very nice facility there.

Great place to stop for inexpensive prices. Even though the pump is self serve, the airport manager offered to top the tanks while I closed my flight plan on the FBO phone. The manager even bought me a soda since he couldn't make change for a $5. The only problem I had was getting a time off clearance from FSS. It took 25 minutes on the phone before I could get a clearance. This is an ATC problem, not Hazlehurst's problem and I will certainly stop for fuel here again when I'm in the area.

What a great place to stop in for fuel. Only 3.65 gallon and nice facilities with a PC/weather, etc... I'll definitely stop in here again!

Stopped in the last weekend in March on the way to the beach fuel was $2.99. Stopped on the way back from Sun n Fun, fuel was $ 3.69. Still a good price but the pump sign said $2.99 and would not print a receipt so I assumed the price was still $2.99. Checked the web page when I got home to find out how much my bill should be. It was still the cheapest fuel I found.

Excellent halfway stop from FL to TN in our 182. As other posts mentioned, no response on Unicom. Other than that, friendly staff and great facilities. They have a neat bunkroom that apparently is available 24/7 for pilots needing a place to stay over. Great little place.
