Always a treat to stop in at Bryce Canyon, as we did on 9/18 with 5 planes. They are extremely efficient and friendly to our Parkwest pilot groups, and the FBO facility is beautiful. Keep up the good work, guys!

Had another great visit to KBCE with our 172 - landed after hours on July 24, tied down on the ramp, called the next morning to request fuel etc. Got the same friendly service like on previous visits when I returned to the airport to fly back on July 27 (Thanks!). Shuttle service by Ruby's Inn was prompt and friendly, too. The phone number is posted by the phone (accessible even if the FBO is closed). The Sinclair station across the street from Ruby's Inn has Hertz rental cars available at a reasonable rate (I paid ~$35/day), but they said they often don't get notified by Hertz if you make an online reservation, so bring your reservation printout, and call to let them know you made a reservation and when you will be coming.

A nice airport with extremely friendly service. As we were taxiing in, the Unicom operator asked if we needed anything. Two minutes later, before I'd even had a chance to get out of the airplane, a truck pulled up, and then fueled us for $4.50/gallon (quite a discount price, these days). The terminal is clean, comfortable, and cute. Watch the density altitude in summer -- it was 8,500' at 8 in the morning.

One of the most beautiful airport settings in the country. Nice runway and full-length taxiway and repaved parking apron with tie-downs. Bought an airport t-shirt! Ruby's will pick up at the airport - and we walked back 'cause it was so nice outside. Fuel price was right too! Density altitude is broadcast on the AWOS.

Stopped into Bryce on May 26, 2008. Great fuel prices. Stayed at Ruby's hotel and they came out and picked us up. Had a rental car set up from the Chevron station for a day to drive around Bryce Canyon. Ruby's hotel then shuttled us back to the airport the next morning. Definitely a great airport.

As others have said, this is a very nice airport. Recently repaved runway and a very nice operations area. Friendly helpful staff and low fuel prices. The only thing they are lacking is Internet connectivity to be able to check weather. But the operations manager let me use his personal computer (dial-up download speeds however) to get weather. Really a very nice place. We'll be back.

Excellent airport and FBO. We stopped here in a Citation on our way across country because of their LOW fuel prices. Excellent quick turn, the fuel truck pulled up to the plane before we opened the door. Clean terminal building and bathrooms. I've highly recommend KBCE as a fuel stop to anyone wanting to avoid the high prices at Grand Junction.

Great facility and very helpful staff. If you plan on stopping in the summer, be sure you keep you eye on the DA.

The building here is one of the nicest we have encountered: very fancy log cabin style with a large area, well decorated, comfortable and clean. We were treated very well. There is some issue about the gas price on occasion since his gas slip lists out the gas price separately from all the taxes. If one just looks at the gas price rather than the total, one does not get the right price. Ask or call if it is essential to you to have the exact value, but tends to be one of the better prices. Very friendly. Ruby's will come get you with their van for meals (or lodging), which are good.

Airport in excellent condition with a full-length taxiway. Good service at the airport with very reasonable Jet A price. Also good service from the Rental Car Agent. Had to stay at a Mom and Pop Motel. None of them are as advertised on the Internet. They are basically dumps. Ditto for their restaurants. If possible stay and eat at Ribby's.

Evidently customers go into AirNav and change fuel prices for BCE because they don't read their receipt properly. There is the per gallon rate followed by taxes. I was told people were changing it back to the per gallon rate after airport personnel posted the full, tax-included rate. On 9 June 2007, the tax included price was $3.75. Runway in very good condition. A previous post is correct, there is NO self-serve. The pumps are used to hold fuel for the trucks. One of the employees lives on site and is happy to pre-arrange after hours fuel but once the FBO closes he will charge $20 if you haven't called ahead. The flight over the canyons is absolutely stunning. Hertz does rental cars at the airport and there is at least one hotel desk there. Seems to be plenty to take advantage of.

Greg (Airport Mgr)...Was a GREAT host. No tie down with fuel. Runway is very good condition. Ask Greg about why & how local folks raise Elk...He knows the scoop. What a venue!!!! My wife and I flew in from Carlsbad, Ca. And we'll be back. Thanks Greg!!!

We flew into Bryce Canyon Airport on August 19 and left August 21, 2006. We had terrific service from the friendly staff at the airport; they called nearby Ruby's Inn shuttle for us and then opened a gate so the van could pick us up right at the plane. While high at 7,500 feet, the runway is also very long and take off with our Bonanza (non turbocharged) was no problem. Reports of the runway being in poor shape are wrong it's just fine. Good tie downs. Thanks to the friendly staff!

Beautiful scenery, less than beautiful FBO experience... They have what appear to be Self Service pumps, but they are not. Nothing is marked to indicate Full Service only for transients... Personnel were less than friendly....

This is a great airport! The runway is in good shape, the terminal is very nice, and everyone is very helpful. The scenery on approach and from the airport is spectacular! We had an A+ experience--highly recommended. Jet A with Prist is currently $3.60 but they say it will probably go up a few cents next week.

Very friendly airport. Greg gave us all sorts of info on things to do and see in the area, and a local scenic flight pilot filled us in on the routine of departing downhill and away from some terrain (on 3) and landing the opposite way, winds permitting. Oh yes, and the local scenery...! Be sure to fly over both Bryce and Zion; the latter is amazing!
