They deserve their accolades. Good price on fuel, a very nice FBO building and not only was I helped with self-serve but the guy cleaned my windshield.

30 November 2010. Trip from Sedalia, MO to Helena, MT in C172. Right after the first cold wave of the year. Winds were howling-wind chill single digits. Manager loaned me an air force type parka for refueling (SS). Apparently because of the temp, had to jump the airplane to get it started-local mechanic and linesman helped me get going. Top notch service and friendliness. Nicely appointed pilot's lounge, planning room, kitchen area, and even a sleep room. Interestingly, the city of Beatrice has initiated a version of the 1862 Homestead Act (Lincoln) in 2010 for some building lots in town. If the townspeople are as amicable as the airport personnel, this would be a swell place to live. I will include KBIE in my future cross-country planning.

Recently, I was stranded at BIE on my way to go hunting in South Dakota due to bad weather. From the time I arrived at Beatrice and until we left we were treated with First Class service. This is a city owned airport that had a service level not found at most high end FBO's that I have visited. I had my hunting dog with me and they help me make accommodations to keep him safe during my stay. Christi went out of her way to insure we had everything we needed for the dog and us. If you ever are in the area of KBIE and you have a choice stop there as they are the friendliest people you will ever meet!

Stopped for the night on Oct 6th. Friendly, helpful, gave us the crew car (a few years past its prime but...) for the short trip to the hotel but you need it for dinner. Great place to stop.

Stopped at KBIE on 09/14/10 while on a business trip from Texas to South Dakota. We took a "pause for the cause" and BIE was the closest place around. I was greeted at the pump by Diana and offered a cold bottle water. She then offered to clean the windshield of the plane! Outstanding service. What a GREAT stop. I highly recommend it to anyone flying through central Nebraska.

This is my third time to visit this airport in the past 4 years. The service is simply the finest. Steve came out to the Self-Serve pump and helped me. Then he brought the courtesy car to the hangar as I taxied over. The fuel prices among the lowest I paid on my coast to coast trip. The overnight hangar was clean and the runways were in great shape. The lobby was clean and well appointed. Lodging and food are close by. These folks may you feel welcome and appreciated.

Great service, competitive fuel price. Chocolate chip cookies in the lounge were a nice extra. Special kudos to Travis for getting my starter problem taken care of in less than 4 hrs.

Stopped for fuel and food on a long cross-country. Self Serve Avgas reasonably priced and courtesy car available with air conditioning that actually works. Plenty of food options and a very short drive into town. My wife appreciated the spotless restrooms.

The FBO at BIE is fantastic. My wife and I flew from Rapid City, SD to Little Rock, AR on a Friday and returned the following Monday. We stopped here both times. Each time we were greeted at the pumps by very welcoming people. I had my dog with me and the lady even gave her a dog biscuit. We definitely recommend this FBO and airport to anyone needing to stop somewhere in SE Nebraska. It will certainly be worth your time.

(Pronounced "bee AT rus"). GREAT FUEL STOP on way to/from OSH. 2008 courtesy car donated by local car dealer, Carriage Motors. Wifi on site. Nice clean terminal. Easy quick drive to several chain restaurants. Walmart across the road. Good fuel price. Friendly line staff helped with fueling at self-serve price, on a Sunday. Highly recommend this stop.

Flew into BIE on the way to OSH. Was met by the airport manager at the self-serve pumps. Got gassed up and checked the weather in a nice pilot lounge. Got a good recommendation for lunch and use of the courtesy car. All in all a five star stop. Thanks Diana!

Flew in enroute from WA to MO. Super clean airport, fantastic grounds, clean, neat and spacious. Great prices on fuel. This place is extremely well maintained. Credit goes to the long-time airport manager (whose name I forget - arrgghh), who greeted us at the fuel island. Stop by soon and congratulate her on 40 years of service at BIE!

Great place to stop, if just for gas or for a weeklong stay. We had to stay for 5 days due to weather on our way from Missouri to Montana. We are glad we made BIE our stopping place. The FBO let us use their courtesy car and got us a discount on a motel. Very nice people, a nice facility, good gas prices, what more could anyone want. If you’re in the area pick BIE for your stop you will be glad you did, we were.

This is a great pilots airport. The staff is great and they’re every day from 7 AM till 6 PM (7PM in summer). They had two crew cars available. I was forced to spend two days there because of low ceilings. I would recommend only staying at the Holiday Inn Express. The other hotels are pretty seedy.

What a great airport. They have an airport car, although it was offered, we just stopped in for fuel. The self-serve pump was competitively priced and was not really self serve. They insist on helping you! The airport is in great shape with flight planning room etc.

Everything we read about this airport is correct. We left Arizona for Oshkosh and made a fuel stop in Santa Fe. We called Diana at the airport and asked if we could reserve a courtesy car (we could) and if we could hangar the plane due to impending weather (we could). When we landed, Diana came out to greet us and had already called for a tow before we were able to get fuel. She had the plane hangared and the courtesy car out by the plane to unload luggage almost immediately. She made a great recommendation for dinner at the Mexican restaurant. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, which was ok but not up to the usual Holiday Inn Express standards of other locations. From the outside, the New Victorian Inn looked like a better option particularly based on the listed rates. The following morning, staff helped get the plane out of the hangar and we were on our way without delay. Would definitely recommend Beatrice for a stop.

What a great place to stop with a friendly small town atmosphere. I was joy riding today and stopped in for a quick pit stop. I wasn't planning on eating, but the staff practically forced me to take the courtesy car to get some food. You don't get that at the big FBOs. There are several good places to eat close by. The facilities are clean and professionally run. I'm not the only one who thinks so. I looked at the register and Toby Keith and his Lear 60 crew were in a couple of days ago.
