Great stop for fuel. Diana insisted on helping us at the pump, offered a crew car and generally made us feel welcome Small FBOs... Pay attention... These folks do it right!

What a great airport. They have an airport car, although it was offered, we just stopped in for fuel. The self-serve pump was competitively priced and was not really self serve. They insist on helping you! The airport is in great shape with flight planning room etc.

Everything we read about this airport is correct. We left Arizona for Oshkosh and made a fuel stop in Santa Fe. We called Diana at the airport and asked if we could reserve a courtesy car (we could) and if we could hangar the plane due to impending weather (we could). When we landed, Diana came out to greet us and had already called for a tow before we were able to get fuel. She had the plane hangared and the courtesy car out by the plane to unload luggage almost immediately. She made a great recommendation for dinner at the Mexican restaurant. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, which was ok but not up to the usual Holiday Inn Express standards of other locations. From the outside, the New Victorian Inn looked like a better option particularly based on the listed rates. The following morning, staff helped get the plane out of the hangar and we were on our way without delay. Would definitely recommend Beatrice for a stop.

What a great place to stop with a friendly small town atmosphere. I was joy riding today and stopped in for a quick pit stop. I wasn't planning on eating, but the staff practically forced me to take the courtesy car to get some food. You don't get that at the big FBOs. There are several good places to eat close by. The facilities are clean and professionally run. I'm not the only one who thinks so. I looked at the register and Toby Keith and his Lear 60 crew were in a couple of days ago.

I agree with everyone else's comments. I called ahead on UNICOM and asked for them to make a hotel reservation for me. I arrived and they gave me an old Caddy to borrow for the night to drive to the hotel a block away. The next morning they towed the plane to the self-serve fuel island so I didn't have to start it twice in the cold. Great service!

Stopped in late at night. Everything works and easy to see with the brightly lit self serve pump. No one was around, but it was very well maintained, clean, easy to use, and felt safe. I will definitely be back!

Once again, My thanks to Chuck, Mike, and Diana for going out of their way to make be sure we were well taken care of for an after-hours arrival. We will be back!

En route from Colorado to Illinois, I stopped at KBIE, encouraged by the other comments on AirNav. I was not disappointed! I needed air in one tire. Mike, the attendant, was friendly and more than helpful. I'll stop here again.

While en route to Yellowstone our C-210 suffered minor electrical problem. Attendants helped us find a rental car, let us use the courtesy car, repaired our 210, and even arranged a shuttle back from Lincoln NE. I can't say enough how helpful the personnel were to us when we needed it!

Beatrice is definitely one the cleanest, well run, and especially well staffed airports I have encountered. My thanks go out to Chuck, Mike, and Diana for going above and beyond the call of duty when recently weathered in at KBIE. Dealing with these great folks makes it a pleasure to be part of the flying community. If you want to have a good old-fashioned small town reception, be sure to put Beatrice on your flight plan. To top things off, fuel prices are one of the best around :-))

Beatrice is one of my favorite airports. Diana Smith and her staff provide excellent, highly personalized and friendly service. This may just be one of the best-run airports in the country. I will go out of my way to visit again.

Truly an outstanding general aviation facility - people, service, town, everything. We were weathered in for a day on a cross-country trip and it couldn't have been at a better location. We'll now put Beatrice on our list as a scheduled stop instead of just an available alternate. Thank you Diana and Chuck - two of the best in the business. This is a real gem for southeast Nebraska.

Beatrice is one of those rare perfect places to stop either for fuel or RON. The lovely and talented airport manager, Diana Smith, was anxious and able to help us with any need we had during our two-night weather delay. The New Victorian Inn is very convenient, inexpensive and even includes a nice breakfast bar. Good stop. We'll be back.

Outstanding! Friendly service, great prices. This is one of our favorite stops!

From Jerry Green on 28-Dec-2006
First of all I note that it is pronounced BEE-AT-TRICE, with the accent on the middle syllable (in case you are not from Nebraska). I agree with all previous comments that this is a very friendly and service oriented airport. We were given a crew car to go to lunch, and we recommend Woody's, just down the road in a strip mall. Could not have been a better choice for a fuel stop.
