I stopped at Early County on my way cross-country for fuel. The staff was very helpful and prices were very reasonable. The door code for the terminal was plainly marked on the fuel pump area and the bathroom was nice and clean. I will stop again.

I will never stop here again especially in bad weather. Landed to fuel and use restrooms. BUT, the building was locked so could not use the restrooms!! Unacceptable! ALSO, the self-serve fuel would not work. I tried every card I had! This place is definitely a DONT STOP AT THIS AIRPORT, AIRPORT! It was a weekday at noon no less. Airports that operate like this shouldn't be getting federal funds. Operate them right or not at all!!!

Response from John Hatcher, County Employee, Early County Board of Commissioners
The Airport doors are locked after hours, as this is a secure site. The Terminal Door access code is posted with cell phone numbers on the front and side doors.

I stopped for fuel and a bathroom break with myself and 3 passengers on Saturday 1/5/2019 about 11:00 am. I was able to get fuel, but the terminal was locked with no way for pilots/pax to use the restrooms. So we were forced to use the 'open air' facilities -- not a pleasant experience for my wife. The WiFi was working, but it was password protected and the was no sign or any way that gave pilots the password........Useless. Then I tried calling the airport manager with the number provided by the AF/D......It was a disconnected number. INEXCUSABLE! What if I had an emergency? Until these problems are addressed, I would not recommend this airport to anyone. Steer Clear!
