Landmark has a "handling fee" that applies no matter how much "handling" they provide, which was none in my case. The fee was $40 for a Mooney, in addition to the $5 landing fee charged by the city. When I called airport operations in advance to ask about fees, they didn't say anything about this fee. It's waived with a fuel purchase over 15 gallons, FWIW.

The service provided by the Landmark lineman was outstanding. He was very courteous and helpful both in fueling the aircraft and offering to squire us around in the courtesy car (over to the local Science Center and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame). The lounge was top notch and really meets the needs of the most discriminating pilot. Sure, I see comments that are not very positive toward the price of fuel, but I look at it differently. If we are not willing to pay a bit more on our fuel bill, how can we expect FBOs to continue in business? All of us like a nice lounge, helpful staff and a fee courtesy car, therefore, we must ask ourselves how can they provide these features without a level of income above the wholesale price of fuel? If the major consideration of which FBO we use is fuel price, is it not possible that someday, we may only find unattended airfields with self-service pumps? It gives me a moment of pause.

3 Aug 09 - Very nice folks provide excellent service but this is the kind of gas prices you get with an FBO monopoly (Same owner for both FBO's on field). Tanker fuel if you can if you’re passing through here.

Stopped twice last week at Lakefront in our RV-7A. Very courteous fuel service and a ride to the Rock N Roll Museum (which is only a 10 minute walk anyway). Gas is pricey but it is very convenient.

Not a bad FBO but it seems to be going downhill without any competition. Landing fees have been increasing and seem to vary based on who is working. Paid $125 one day and two days later paid $200 both for drop offs.

Stopped at BKL in a rented C172 from Chicago on a time building trip. We arrived in some moderate rain but still got the great parking service, a ride to our hotel (Doubletree, very nice) and a ride to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the morning. Top-notch facility in a great location, it reminds me of Meigs. I will be back.

Landmark Aviation is one of the finest FBO's I have ever visited. Landed at Burke Lakefront in our Cessna 340 and within minutes we were offered a ride to our hotel. Spent the weekend in Cleveland (no car needed) as the FBO offered to pick us up from the hotel and drive us back to the airport. We requested to load the plane with our baggage, and then mentioned we were going to walk to the science center on Lake Erie. Landmark offered a ride to the science center and gave us a business card with phone numbers to call for pick-up whenever we were ready to leave! We had a great weekend in Cleveland and it all began and ended with Landmark Aviation. Keep up the great work, we will return to visit your fine city and FBO facility!

Landed there in my Cessna 170 to take in the sites. This airport in right next to everything I wanted to see. Suzanne from Landmark was great in getting us a place to stay. Didn't need a car. Landmark wasn't busy so they gave us a lift to the hotel. Rock and Roll Hall of fame is right there with other things to see and do. Hotel shuffled me back to plane. It was great. I will be back.

Flew into BKL on Sat May 24 for the first time. The airport is right on the lake and as one other commenter stated it is what Meigs could have been. The staff at Landmark was very responsive and had my tanks topped off before I was able to get off the field for the weekend. I was a bit surprised at the high tie-down prices but all except $25 was waived for the 2-night tie-down. I'm also expecting a $5 landing fee from the city. I'll make sure to plan this stop in on future flights.

Great service! Very nice sites approaching the airport. If you're really passionate about flying, you must visit this airport at least once and land right on the shore of Lake Erie in the midst of downtown Cleveland. Oh, and might as well visit the best FBO on the field, Landmark Aviation!

The staff was professional and helpful & the facilities are nice. Although it is not the cheapest fuel stop, you at least feel they want to earn your money.

Flew in with my experimental to attend a meeting in Cleveland down town and get fuel. Brad and Susan were very friendly and helpful though I only fly a small aircraft. Nice facilities too. Will be back.
