Line guys were out ready to fuel the plane even before we got on the taxiway. Some snacks in the lounge if you want to make it a quick fuel stop. Nice folks.

Can't say enough for these guys. I had to land for the night recently on my way to California. I was provided a free courtesy vehicle after hours and all the assistance I needed to continue on. Thanks a million!

Stopped in on 1/31/08. Was asked if we wanted fuel before we cleared the runway, said yes, and a lineman was at the pumps before we were. Good prices on fuel and very fast service.

Friendly and quiet. Ginger is as chubby and playful as previously reported.

Stopped in for fuel for my 172 and was in a bit of a hurry. Unfortunately, I was the first of three airplanes that arrived about the same time so I had to wait. Couldn't be avoided I suppose. Fueler was careless. Overfilled one tank. Fuel was flowing off my wing. When he noticed the tank was full, he pulled the nozzle out and put at least a quart of fuel on my windshield. If you fuel there, I recommend you pump your own gas. I won't have to worry about that because I won't be going back.

Stopped in twice recently on Angel Flights. Fuel prices VERY reasonable for CA and fast friendly service. Got to play ball with Ginger, the resident yellow lab, who is working on dropping a few pounds and appreciates the exercise while plane was refueled. Easy in & out, highly recommend.

Stopped in on a California to Florida trek in a 172. I called ahead to ensure that they had sandwiches for lunch, and when I arrived I was topped with food in hand in less than 15 minutes. I was pleasantly impressed. Cheap fuel, too.

Pat the owner has been great. Was quick to diagnose a dead cylinder and arrange for the local IA to help us out first thing in the AM. Pat also drove us to the local motel. I agree with the other comments - not fancy but a real pro GA airport. Thanks Pat.

Good experience. Not fancy, but clean, fast and cheap fuel. I called 30 miles out to verify they had fuel, and when I got on the ground, the attendant was waiting for me at the fuel pit. Good service. Not fancy, but when you're XC and you need a pit stop and a quick turn around, this is a great choice.

Flew into Blythe last week en route to Bullhead, been through there many times and always have had great service. Mr. Wolfe is one of the best FBO operators around; he and the service crew will do what ever it takes to get what you need!

I flew into Blythe and thought it was a tropical paridise. The staff was great and reminded me of when aviation was more real. Pat the owner feed me free of charge (Tri-Tip). The airport is pro military and GA. If any rich pilots have a problem about this airport go hang out with your fake friends at your local non-free BBQ airport. The owner helped me when I was down on my luck free of charge. You just don't see that kind of treatment anymore! This airport is PRO-GA. If you have a problem land and talk to PAT! He will help you solve it. Granted the fuel guys are slow, but they are nice and will bend over backwards for you.

We were there for the day and got fuel. They put our 421 in the hangar at no charge, pulled it out when we needed to depart. Enterprise car rental was not around and they loaned us a car to go to the river while we had a stopover. What more do you want in the middle of the desert?

Good fuel or pit stop. Not busy at all. Remembered the place ever since I had Pat Wolfe's incredible Tri-tip BBQ up in Kingman two years ago :-)

Not much here. The FBO was nice in answering my calls on the unicom. Came out and filled the plane right away. But the operations building is a bit on the old side and there was no internet access that I could see. The guy on duty the day I was there was a bit on the slow side, but he got the job done. One of the locals was working on his own plane, lent me his brand new car to get myself some lunch in town. This place is a bit run down, but it works.

Stopped for fuel on way to Oceanside. Service fast but surly. Rwy 17/35 taxi back on runway. Wanted to do a midfield T/O rwy 17. Announced intentions, when I U-turned found Cherokee behind me not talking on the radio. Went to P20 on the way home, cheaper fuel, friendlier service.

Friendly staff, met us as we taxi'd in and had us refueled in minutes. Of course then we fouled a couple of plugs but that didn't phase anyone (except me). They had the plugs out, cleaned, back in and we were on our way within 30 minutes. Smaller operations like this one can provide the best experiences. Oh, and the gas is very reasonable too.

From Philip Greenspun on 12-Dec-2005
Pat lent us his truck and we went to the Town Square Cafe in town for a friendly breakfast. They let us leave our Robinson R22 in a corner by the pumps for the whole morning. Nice folks.

I had the pleasure of a quick stop at KBLH on the 14th of Nov. 2005. I had a loose inspection plate which was quickly fixed and topped off my tanks before returning to San Diego. The staff was friendly and fuel was fairly priced. Snacks and drinks were available. Nice folks.

The service I get has been great. I fly in on a regular basis. The last time I tried to fly out I had had a frozen mixture control. Pat, the owner of the FBO, was quick to lend a hand to whatever I needed. He checked his stock but didn't have the correct control assembly. He contacted the local IA for me and made arrangements for him to come fix the plane the next day. I had the part UPS'd to the airport and was able to pull it off the UPS airplane when it landed in Blythe. Blythe may be in the middle of nowhere, but in a jam the people are top notch. The weather is unpredictable there, so it is worth the couple of extra dollars to put your plane in the big hanger. Fuel is high, but according to the sign they are making the same cents per gallon as they were 13 years ago.
