Arrived in a Cherokee from Toronto for clearing customs. The front desk was extremely busy and they had several jets so understandably I was not a high priority. It took over 2 hours to get a rental car. Getting on to the ramp was a major pain because someone has to open the door for you, and when there are many people waiting in line, it takes a long time to get something from your airplane. There is internet access in the lobby which was nice, although the computer kept crashing. Overall, it was an ok service.

Stopped in my Skyhawk for a few hours at Prior. Service was characteristically fast, efficient, friendly and courteous. 100 LL @ $6.26 in Buffalo, ouch! Very nice facility, conveniently located; free popcorn. Thanks for the friendly service and assistance, Pam! I'll be back.

Arrived the other evening in my cessna182. Very clean and well staffed FBO. Very freindly and helpful. There is a $5 landing fee, non waivable, and a $17 parking or stopping fee. That fee disapears if you buy at least 10 gals of fuel at $6.31 a gal. Tax included.

I dropped people off at Prior Aviation on 4/1/08.As usual, the service and personnel at Prior are great. I do think that JET A priced at 6.80 is outrageous!

Stopped in to clear customs on the way back from Toronto. Prior people couldn't have been nicer! Provided a crew car so we could get food at "Charlie the Butcher." Jet treatment for the crew of a piston twin. We'll be back!

After clearing customs on a weekend return flight from Toronto in my Piper Warrior, I asked Prior maintenance to pull the battery and bench test before heading home to Virginia since there were indications that it was not holding a charge. The tech showed up quickly, removed it, and ran it through a few tests in the shop. The battery was fine and Prior did not charge me for the 20-30 minutes work. Thanks for great customer service for a little guy!

Arrived at 1AM in an SR20. After calling earlier in the day, had a hotel shuttle on the way when we came in. Service was very good, although fuel was costly.

I have used Prior many times in the past and have received excellent service. April 30th 2007 while picking up Angel Flight passengers there was no difference. They were accidentally dropped off at the main terminal, and Prior sent a van over to go pick them up. Thank you Prior for all your good service!!!!!

I want to thank everyone at Prior Aviation for the great service. The line personnel met us at the ramp and quickly serviced our plane for departure. The ladies at the front counter were very helpful and answered all of our questions with a smile. Thanks for caring!!

The people at Prior were very helpful as we visited Buffalo to clear customs. We were immediately met by a marshaller (a surprise to us, being only a tiny 172) and also borrowed the crew car for lunch without any hassles. Total bill came to a whopping $5! Will definitely visit on future trips to the USA.

I just wanted to sing the praises of Prior Aviation, especially Maureen. I arrived in Buffalo on a small private plane and was instantly welcomed and taken care of. Maureen let me use a courtesy car to get some food and then let me nap and wait for my friend in the comfy lounge. Her warmth and generosity have given me a lasting positive impression of Buffalo. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!

Two stops at Prior in the last week, great service. Well appointed FBO, they booked us at the Holiday Inn for our overnight where pets were OK and WiFi was free.

Flew to Buffalo for a Wedding on July 8th. Staff was very courteous out on the line as well as the desk. They immediately asked me what hotel I was staying at and called the shuttle for me. The next day they promptly had the aircraft waiting for me to depart. Landing fee was only $5. Excellent service at Prior...I highly recommend it.

We landed at KBUF and had an excellent customer service experience from Prior. They accommodated all our needs ranging from courtesy car, shuttle to the main terminal, mechanic, and a nice comfy pilot lounge, and everything else we requested. It was absolutely the best service we have received. I highly recommend Prior.

From Chris Camadella on 15-May-2006
Like the others, I had the experience that the FBO was fine, the service was exemplary, and the fuel was VERY expensive. Our rental car was ready, and driven right out to the plane upon our arrival; plane was fueled and ready when we got back.

I recently flew into Prior, excellent service, very polite and knowledgable ramp workers. Customs very responsive fuel prices are higher than the norm, but as is at all major airports. Used a courtesy car to go to Charlie the butcher, excellent roast beef! will definately return, excellent A+ FBO

Stopped in to clear customs. Ramp agent very friendly and was out to greet us on arrival. Customs agent was also very friendly and cleared us in 5 minutes. All we had to pay was the 12 dollar ramp fee and for those of you who bitch try going to Eagle Colorado where the facility charge is 250 dollars. Look forward to stopping in again in the future.

A retraction of my strong comments on 15-Dec-2005: A week after those comments appears here; I received an unexpected call from Prior Aviation's Jim Wallace. While Jim was not the person responsible for the original mishap, he admitted that top management noticed my comments on AirNav. Jim offered his sincerest apologies on behalf of Prior for the lack of a response and he conveyed that Prior Aviation was, in fact, very eager for my business. I took him up on his offer to tour their facilities and discovered that Prior is, in fact, very friendly and helpful to those of us flying light aircraft. Thanks to Jim's sincere concerns and his assistance with this issue, I am now hangaring at Prior and have been happy with the services provided by Prior thus far. Hopefully Prior Aviation has since worked out their internal technical problems that led to four separate unanswered phone calls, for not every prospective customer posts their experiences here on AirNav. Thanks again, Jim.

As a soon-to-be weekly commuter into Buffalo for business, I left four messages with the manager of Prior over three weeks in an attempt to talk about hangar availability for my Bonanza. This person never returned any of my calls. I am extremely disappointed with Prior's unresponsiveness and apparent lack of interest in light GA aircraft business. My money is now being given to a nearby airport and I will avoid Prior for "any" future business. Feel free to email me for any details as I strongly stand by my comments here.

Excellent FBO. Friendly and accommodating, but VERY PRICY! Bought 91 gallons, rented a car for 2 days, and still was charged $17.00/day parking, plus $7.00 landing fee. General aviation is becoming price prohibitive!!

Stopped in Buffalo to meet up with sister's boyfriend for a few hours. Was denied entry into the USA after surrendering requested documents. Was held 3 hours without food or water and was not allowed to see my sisters' boyfriend. Asked if someone could take me to the terminal and my request was refused. Customs is a joke and will not return. FBO is average. Good service, someone was there to meet me, very polite ramp agent. Landing fee was only $5 for Seminole.

Nice place, nice people. Nothing bad to report. Did get a little sticker shock on fuel price but that seems to be the trend. Great FBO to visit. Will return!

From Robert Banks on 26-Jul-2005
A+ FBO. Very friendly. Good fuel prices for the region. The ATC folks are great as well. The FBO had my rental car ready when I arrived, gave me good directions to downtown Buffalo. Maureen (I hope I spelled her name correctly) is very helpful. I will be back!
