I flew into KBVU as HND was busy with NBAA and I could not get a reservation to park the 310 for the evening... Boy, did I pick the winning lottery ticket by going into Boulder City... GREAT service by Clint!! Not only did he return my phone calls, the previous day, to reserve parking and a rental car but, he was there waiting to guide me to parking and even tied down the plane.... Have not had that kind of good customer service in years, even at the larger FBO's... The next day departure service was just as friendly and professional, plane was topped off, ready to go. I will now be using BFE LLC for all my future trips to Las Vegas.

I had a great experience at BFE. Clint met me at the parking area, helped with bags, assisted in covering my plane and carted me to the FBO. I did a little shopping for rental cars available there and you definitely do pay for the convenience, and the local enterprise is not open on Sunday, so for a Sunday departure you may have to pay for Monday rental as well. I opted to use UBER up to Henderson for a much better rate. It was fast and inconvenience was minimal. Departure experience was also great. Got the pointers from Clint on the self-serve quirks, and was quickly on my way. Fuel price and tie-down price beats all others in the area. But hey... Don't listen to me. I'd rather this doesn't get out, or they will get too busy!!

These guys are without a clue. I had a rental car from Enterprise reserved and dropped off. Had it for less than 24 hours and they charged me for 2 days and 3 times the daily rate of my reservation. Upon departing the self-serve pump was in-op and the only fuel was from the truck yet they refused to match the self-serve price even though the pump was a known issue. There was another plane there at the same time experiencing the same fuel issue. Next time I will go to Henderson and I recommend going there and avoiding this circus. Ultimately it is just a landing area for tour helicopters. AVOID B.F.E

Great experience with BFE at KBVU. Enterprise rental car for the week was $300 vs $800 at the other airports. Same Enterprise office out of Henderson, just difference in what the airport charges them to do business. FBO is a little young but eager to please. Fuel price was GREAT. I was in their hangar for 6 nights at $60/night, thatís the same, as you would pay for ramp elsewhere. The runway and facilities are great, everything is new including the runway. Yes there is intense helicopter activity but they are pro pilots flying turbine helicopters, not trainers. They constantly announce their position and stay out of the regular traffic pattern. The normal runway is 9/27, and the helicopters stay north of it all the time. Drive Vegas was barely 10 minutes more than HND. In and out with the aircraft was quick and easy. Understand this airport has no IFR approaches so if weather is a concern be prepared with options. I'll be back!

I have been flying into Boulder City for almost a decade. Although it is a good airport to fly into, it has become quite the headache over the years. Experiences have included being pulled over on the ramp by the local Gestapo because I landed "without a landing light" allowing them probable cause to search my aircraft (Even though I landed with my light ON. Especially about B.F.E., I arrived B.F.E. Closed, and to prevent me from departing without paying their $5 landing fee they applied a Pad-Lock to my tie-down chain. On the day of departure I called them for fuel and when I arrived they had not filled my fuel order and I discovered the Pad-lock. They said they do this to " prevent aircraft from departing without paying." BFE ramp has been converted to Tour helicopter parking so they park airplanes by the old FBO (Airport Admin Area). Which has no services or bathrooms. It seems they are trying to prevent GA from utilizing this airport so they can have more Commercial Tour operators.
