Great service!! The FBO is also the local Hertz agent. They brought the car out to the airplane, helped with luggage, etc. As to the self-service gas, they pulled my airplane from the tie-down to the pump with their tug, and pumped the gas for me. The only thing self-serve was that I put my credit card into the controller. For general aviation, this is the most convenient airport for visits to the Redwood National and State Parks.

There are very few self-serve fuel stops along this stretch of coast. Stopped on a recent flight and was glad to get gas late at night. Many of my recent stops have included some after-hours support, even a bathroom, but these guys lock up tight which I reluctantly understand but find a bit tough to accept given that the fuel is the most expensive self-serve I've seen just about anywhere.

I was there on a Saturday to pick up a pax. Nice little FBO that serves as the rental car place also. We arrived at 4:45pm and they closed @5pm. We bought close to $500 of gas. I wanted to buy some candy and a soda from the young man running the FBO, he insisted we help ourselves at no cost. Nice people.

Lost an alternator on my way to CEC for fuel. Was delighted to find a mechanic who fixed a broken wire on the ramp and got me on my way in an hour.

No fuel truck for 100LL, but the staff fills your tanks from the self-serve pump. Nice clean FBO run by friendly folks.
