This FBO always has great line service and customer services. However, the facility itself needs a facelift. I fly in at night for an hour or two most of the time. The recliners in the pilot lounge are broken, the recliners face a glass wall that faces the lobby so it's difficult to rest, the phone system rings and echoes throughout the lobby area also making it difficult to get rest. The Internet is very slow making weather checks and flight planning a little longer. The flight planning room only has a WSI computer. It's been months since I have seen any complimentary bottles of water in the cooler. Compared to other Landmarks, I would rate this facility as needing some attention.

Flew in on a Pilots N Paws flight with a mama lab and her 6 two week old pups. The customer service reps were great in letting us use the lobby to get the puppies out of the cold while we walked the mom. I would recommend CHO as a transfer airport for animal rescue flights.

No complaints about the service we received on a visit to see Thomas Jefferson's home, the Monticello. Avis had not delivered our car, but one phone call from the ladies at the desk, and the car was delivered within a few minutes. The lineman fueled the plane exactly as I requested. Sure, the fuel is more expensive, and I could have saved $30 by stopping at another airport at the cost of a few gallons extra to land and climb out again. Net savings might have been $15? The time saved was worth the small extra cost.

Great service on a two night stay. The "handling fee" was waived with the fuel purchase. Great support getting a rental car and hotel. You can find cheaper places but the support that I received from Landmark was exceptional. Thanks

Just called today because I was considering making a stop on a upcoming trip, took forever to get a straight answer on fees, when I finally did I was told I would have to pay a $40 handling fee unless I purchase 50 gallons or more of their overpriced fuel. No thanks, I'll just go somewhere else and come back when this service provider goes out of business.

Counter staff left at 9pm but the two linemen on duty went out of their way to accommodate several departing aircraft, myself included. After paying for my fuel purchase, the linesman told me they'd pulled my Piper Arrow into the hangar to make sure no frost built up on the wings prior to my departure. This extra effort and care was totally unexpected and went a long way towards making me feel less hostile about the Landmark "Handling Fee" (waived with fuel purchase. Thanks.

Friendly service on a late night landing. They didn't charge me the landing fee since it was after 10pm. The night attendant offered to de-ice a small amount of dew on my wings, but didn't know how much it would cost.

Arrived to drop off passengers. Promptly marshalled in, rental was ready for pax, line service promptly fueled our aircraft and we were on our way. Friendly customer service as well. Can't get much better than that. Thanks!!!

Underwhelming experience at Landmark today. Everyone was cordial and it's hard to find something specific to complain about - but the $25 "handling" fee is kind of a joke given the total absence of "handling" or personal service. Although the ramp was mostly empty, we were directed to park right behind a jet that was preparing to leave - forcing us to wait in the plane (and hang on to our belongings) for a few minutes. Then, an unusually long series of "registration" questions at the front desk, none of which appeared to have any purpose. When we returned three hours later, I paid the $25 fee - and then was left on my own to find the plane, which had been moved a significant distance down the ramp. I don't mind the fee (and gladly pay them at places with great customer service), but Landmark is just going through the motions.

Landed here on my XC training flight. They didn't answer to UNICOM, but CHO Ground guided us to their tie-downs. Was trying to get a $300 hamburger in the terminal, but they moved the restaurant into the security area. Staff inside is extremely nice and helpful while we only purchased 7 gal. Of 100LL they provided us with a free crew car, waived handling fee ($25) and gave directions and suggestions on where to eat. When we came back 15 min. Later plane was fueled (they stopped at 7 gallons and didn't top off, which was appreciated given fuel price). I don't know why everyone is complaining about this place.

Good but unfortunately one of the airports that qualifies as expensive.

Yes, CHO is expensive. Landing and parking fees are waived with a fuel puchase in excess of 7 gallons, however the overnight fee of $16.00 is not. Its too bad there isn't another FBO or alternate airport for the recip community. The business of Landmark is in the heavy business jets.
