Flew into CLL with my Cessna 172 last weekend for the game. Let me tell you, the service from the FBO at Easterwood is amazing! We told the tower we wanted overnight parking, they guided us to the parking north of the FBO on Taxiway Alpha. There was a very friendly ramp guy that helped us parking the plane. Then he brought us to the FBO with the golf cart. Our rental car keys were waiting for us at the counter. And everything was free! No need to buy gas, no overnight parking fee... And the organization is perfect, considering that there is an average of 200 GA planes coming on a weekend game! I will definitely recommend it.

We fly into Easterwood quite often. It is an enjoyable experience, from the helpfulness starting with the controllers, to the guys in the red hats ready to park your plane, to the guys who are ready with the golf cart to help with luggage to the friendly, professional, helpful, and cheerful ladies behind the counters all make it an enjoyable experience. Courtesy cars are available also, which makes it nice.

Thanks to all the hard working lineman, controllers and lady's at the FBO desk. However, BE AWARE of the $50 ramp fee. I lost vacuum in a 182 during night IMC. I should have been a lawn dart between Dallas and CLL. Thanks to my CFii in Portland, TN I knew exactly what to do. Left my 182 with Jason at Avolar and they were all over it. Very reasonable and actually bragged about how quick they got'er done. However, after being socked in for several days due to storms it took me 10 days to get back and fly out. Only to add insult to injury, a $50 tab for parking outside on concrete. I was told this is how they made money (in less words). Nothing is posted in the FBO and was never told about the fee. No pity for someone that just spent a months pay for a repair and hand no idea I was racking up ramp fees. Post your fees and I will accept the apology. Special thanks to the controllers on help with the closed runways and taxi's.

I stopped to get Jet A with a fuel truck for our helicopter, that we are doing a seismic operation about 30 miles north of CLL. At first they tried to tell me it is against FAA regulations to put Jet A in anything other than an aircraft, after I informed them that this is not true. They made me fill out a paper on who I am, who I work for, what the tail # is, where I am staying, and what we are doing with the helicopter. After I provided them with this information they still refused to sell me Jet A.

I spent several days operating my helicopter out of Easterwood this month and was impressed by the level of service I received. A lineman was usually waiting for my photographer and I upon touchdown, and we were refueled quickly. The best part of the experience was seeing Kyla's adorable smile behind the desk each day.

Stopped in here twice over the weekend in a King Air 200 to pick up and then to drop 2 passengers. The pick up on Friday 1-29 went well with nice friendly people. The drop off on the other hand went not so well. I intended to drop 2 passengers and take on fuel. We were the only airplane on the ramp and the lineman tried to park us WAAAAAy out on the other side of the ramp. I didn't want to make paying passengers walk that far in the cold and wind so I parked closer to the building. The lineman became very upset and argumentative with me about where we parked while I was trying to unload my passengers' bags. He said I had to call ahead if I wanted to park by the door and claimed they didn't get the fax I sent earlier in the day about the stop. The lineman was rude enough I decided against the fuel and we left again within 5 minutes. I hope this treatment of customers was an isolated incident and not the norm for this FBO.

The line guys are great and the receptionists are friendly, but the real statement belongs to the tower controllers. Simply the most kind and professional controllers I've ever encountered.

Had to make an unplanned fuel stop flying home from KSAT late one night. Center was extremely friendly and helpful and gave us the after hours phone numbers to call since it was an unplanned stop. Called all the numbers they gave us plus the ones that were posted and got no help. The after-hours phone number went to VM and the call wasn't returned. Called TAMU PD (as requested) and was told, "We didn't have time to take care of that." It appears to be a nice airport; however, don't stop at night for gas -- you may not get it.

An excellent FBO combined with a great airport. The FBO staff is extremely accommodating and the facilities are top notch. Fuel price is better than average for the area. I definitely will be returning.

I am a flight instructor out of KGGG and have visited this FBO twice in the past two weeks on a training flight with a private student. We didn't need any fuel and yet the service was great. The courtesy cars are the nicest I've ever seen with no ramp fee - and better than most with ramp fees. The facilities are nice and the girl working behind the desk was extremely helpful and courteous.
