We flew in for 2 days on our way to Alaska and were met by Brandon and Matt they arranged a rental for us, hotel reservation, also recommended a few places for us to visit and were very accommodating. The FBO is first class.

Wife and I flew into Carlsbad in our Comanche 250 on May 16, 2013. Facilities and staff are fantastic. Self-serve Avgas was also right next to Chandler Aviation. Rental car was brought out to the car as we unloaded the plane. Great time at the cave. After 2 days we left the car in the designated spot and took off in a cool New Mexico morning for our next adventure. Excellent FBO

We flew in to Carlsbad on Monday, May 13. No sooner had I stepped out of the airplane when the FBO rental car pulled up, ready for us to unload our bags. The paperwork for the car was quick and painless and the staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities inside are top notch and very clean. Our departure the next day was delayed due to weather and the FBO was very understanding and generous in handling the unplanned extra overnight with the car. We requested to be present when fueling for departure and the fuel truck was there within a minute of request. We were very impressed with the service received and would definitely come back again.

I flew in here with 3 friends in April '13. They called us on CTAF 15 miles out asking if we wanted SS or FS. That was nice. Inside the FBO is great. Places to sleep, eat, lounge, and do work. However, the man behind the counter could have been a bit more customer service oriented. I told him to top us off (FS). After, I asked if we could use the courtesy car for 2-3 hours. He immediately said no and said they had rentals or could call Enterprise. I asked why so stingy on the courtesy car and his response was, we don't lend them out in case other people come in and want to use them. (A nice way to say, we have bigger jets that pay more...) I asked how much the rentals were... $60/day. Even for 3 hours? Yep... Called Enterprise. They were just as bad. Terrible customer service and wanted $120 for a compact. Ended up paying the $60 (which had to be cash) for 3 hours in a pile of junk white truck. Great FBO but terrible customer service.Response from Doug & Terry Chandler, Owners, Chandler Aviation Customer Service means everything to us at Chandler Aviation! We are very sorry and surprised that you had a bad experience with us. One of our main goals at Chandler Aviation is that we treat all customers the same no matter what size the plane is. We only wish we would have been able to speak to you. Our goal is to have the best service you can find! We hope you will accept this apology and come back and see us again.

I was very impressed with the facilities and the kind helpful staff. They have 2 courtesy vehicles with hotels and restaurants nearby. I called ahead and they had a vehicle waiting for me. They use Avfuel, which I always look for to get Avtrip points and high quality avgas. Thanks Chandler Aviation!!

Flew in to visit the Caverns Nat. Park. Outstanding service from line crew (Matt and James), beautiful facilities, very convenient rental car (from FBO; Enterprise was out). Good recommendations for hotel and food. Overall a great experience -- epitomizes the reason we travel GA. We'll be back with friends.

Great stop--self-serve pump is only 200 yards to the FBO (go past passenger terminal) to next building, which is the FBO. Nice decor. We'll be back!

Excellent FBO. We stayed there for 3 nights the last part of Sept. Car was waiting as promised and was a very good car with low rates. We will visit this FBO again if in the area.

Staff is very customer oriented and service is great. We have stayed at this airport several times to visit our son in Carlsbad (what a boom town). Chandler does a first rate job. Thanks to Don Chandler and his team (small though it may be).

Gotta echo what Ken said earlier. I was there for the Grumman Fly-In also and can't say enough about the place. Matt was very attentive and went out of his way to be helpful and cordial to our entire group, which was quite large. The FBO has been recently remodeled and is really top notch. Will certainly stop in again.

Held our regional Grumman fly-in at KCNM over the weekend. Matt from Chandler personally parked, tied down and accommodated 20 aircraft and 50 folks in a few hours. Gave us the entire pilots lounge to use as our registration area, arranged pickup of rental cars, and treated us like royalty. He held off fueling aircraft until early morning to avoid expansion due to 107 F temperatures. Excellent service.. Superb facilities... Matt knows great customer service! Great stop!

Good service. I parked, tied-down the plane, and went inside. They told me where I could find the car keys and contract that Enterprise left for me (the FBO and Enterprise don't have an official relationship). They let me drive the rental car to the plane as necessary and it was fueled for me before I returned for departure. I'd come back.

Stopped on our round trip from TUS to SPI in our Archer. Bucking headwinds on our return to TUS, Aaron met us at the plane, offered the crew car and steered us to the motel and food. Friendly, excellent service and a great stopover FBO. We will return. Thanks

I forgot the zone change and arrived after closing, but got picked up from our hotel in the morning. They also lent the courtesy car that morning for a quick trip to the caverns and they posted back my Tom-Tom that I accidentally left behind all for no extra charge. Very nice FBO and friendly courteous service from the front desk.

The Chandler FBO facility is quite nice at the Cavern City airport and the person behind the desk friendly, but I had asked for 30 gal fuel to be placed in the tanks. When my family and I arrived back at the airport the next morning for the trip back to Waco, TX I was presented with the bill for the 30 gal fuel and paid it. However when I preflighted my 182, the fuel gauges were each slightly below 1/4 tank, which is exactly where they were when I landed. No fuel had been added! The guy who was supposed to have fueled my plane was a no show for work that day. The guy working that day put the 30 gal in and the gauges read almost 3/4 tanks, which, with 57 gal in the tanks, is how, they should read (80 gal tanks). This is a real safety of flight issue and I called the head linesman to complain and warn them that the guy who filled out that ticket indicating that he fueled my plane but didn't is a real liability to their company and a danger to pilots.

A great FBO! They have their own rental car for a very reasonable price ($60). The stayed open late on Christmas Eve so I could pick-up weather before my departure and even found and returned my phone that slipped out of my pocket.

I stopped at KCNM for fuel and lunch between Texas and Phoenix. The service was outstanding. The FBO is very comfortable and people friendly. We were given a courtesy car and directions to the No Whiner Diner, which I also recommend.

Wow has things improved in Carlsbad. I had not been to Carlsbad since the opening of Chandler Aviation. The facilities were top notch, reasonable fuel prices, and very good service. We were there in a Citation Jet, but I watched people being treated very well regardless of the equipment. The sign of an FBO that gets it...

I fly in here several times a year to visit relatives. Line guys have always been excellent and at the plane as soon as I shut down. Great facility. Last flight was night before Thanksgiving and the FBO stayed open until 8pm to accomodate the arrivals. Keep up the great work!

First class, 5 star service!!!!!! Dropped in to Carlsbad due to extreme winds. The staff at Chandler Aviation went out of their way to help hold down and hangar my airplane in threatening and dangerous winds, my sincerest thanks for their efforts and hospitality. The airplane was ready and waiting the next morning without having to ask. The FBO is warm and welcoming, the staff courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful FBO...The best appointments I have seen in this region. Nice furniture, briefing area, etc. Most important is the service we received from Aaron. He is the true customer service employee and a great joy to interact with. With Carlsbad's numerous runways, and Chandler's excellent facilities and staff.... This is a great destination. The caverns are a must see.

Flew into Carlsbad, NM to check out the Caverns last weekend. The Chandler Aviation FBO has to be one of the best appointed places I have ever seen. The staff at the FBO was wonderful. Helped us with hangar parking and over to fuel. The fuel was a little more expensive than posted here on AirNav. Reserved a rental car from Enterprise online the night before. The rental vehicle was delivered and upgraded to a truck for free. Great service from Chandler and Enterprise. Suggest using both! And finally, the Caverns were phenomenal. Highly suggest the stop if you are over flying east or westbound. Land late morning and either stay the night or leave after seeing the caverns. Roswell is within driving distance, if you like the alien stuff too.....

We diverted here on 7 Aug after a long leg (for us) from CCB. The fuel price was exactly as reported. The FBO is a beautiful and comfortable facility. Aaron was extremely helpful, providing a crew car for the night, a good deal at the Best Western (10 min drive) and a great recommendation for dinner (The Stock Exchange - excellent steak!). We will definitely be back! Thanks Aaron!
