Coming back north from Sun-N-Fun I chose to land here to let the rain pass. It seems the airport attendants decided to abandon the field on a rainy Saturday in April. I found someone on the field to call them so I could get some Avgas. The gentleman was just that, a gentleman. He fueled my Cessna 150 and was very congenial. The woman who took my credit card made my daughter and I feel like we had just broken some family heirloom. She was curt. Add that to the fact there was no weather computer or a phone to call flight service I see no reason to visit ever a gain. There are plenty of small airports within 100 knts that will be happy to have my business

Why does someone not contact NOS and inform them the runway numbers changed almost 2 years ago. I know someone has to be doing approaches into Cheraw using wrong information.
