I have eaten here a few times. Very nice amenities, not what you would expect for your normal fly in for that $100 burger. Service ranges from good to ok but the food quality helps sooth that long wait. Beautiful locale and will definitely fly in again for a bite to eat.

Sometimes its as much fun to watch the planes land and depart as it is to enjoy breakfast here.

Had a lovely breakfast this morning on the patio while waiting for my United flight, but will fly in another time with friends in our aircraft! Very friendly service and a great view of the tower and part of the runway. There should be five transient spots at the base of the tower.

I've eaten at The Landings at Carlsbad several times. Food has always been good. Service is spotty, but adequate. Nice place with a patio for outside dining. There are now 9 short term transient spots at the base of the tower for fly in customers. No fee unless you overnight there.

Better than the usual airport cafe. Service is a bit iffy, but the food was quite good.

Flew in Christmas Eve with a friend and his family. Grant it, we were practically the only ones in the restaurant, but the service was great. The breakfast was pretty good and the prices were decent. Will definitely come back.

Flew into Palomar from Chino Airport this past Saturday evening for a late lunch. I must say I'm very impressed with the Palomar Airport and the Landings Restaurant. It's a very nice classy atmosphere. The Airport and Restaurant. The foods excellent and the service is top notch. I will make a return visit as soon as possible. I give this a A+ rating.

I have eaten here twice in the last two weeks. At lunchtime, the staff gets a bit overwhelmed and service is slow. While the food is far better than the traditional airport cafe (French Valley or Hemet), the lunches are only a bit above average at an above average price. The breakfast I had this morning was quite tasty though - omelet with jack cheese, broccoli, and ham. Even when slow, they seem to get the orders just a bit wrong - home fries instead of the requested hash browns. Hopefully, they can work the bugs out and make it a great place to fly for a bite.

Flew into Carlsbad for lunch. Food was very good, excellent for airport fair. The ambiance is excellent. There are about four parking spots for GA planes next to the restaurant. If the area is full, park at Western Flight and walk over to the restaurant (3 minute walk). If the weather is nice, I suggest sitting in the patio area, which has clear Plexiglas dividers, so you can see onto the ramp and allows for a view of the runway.
