Flew in on the 11th to play some golf at the course next to the airport. Great course for being city owned. The folks at Million Air were more then happy to give me a ride over and back from the course. I didn't need fuel in my 180 and to my surprise, no ramp fee. I'll be back.

I landed at CWF because it was a much shorter drive for those who were picking me up at the airport than LCH would have been. This was on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009; I was flying a Comanche 250. Other than the high cost of 100LL (most of my other stops on this trip had fuel priced from $3.50 to $4.25 per gallon; Million Air's price was nearly $5.00), this was a good experience. Service was prompt and friendly; facilities were exceptionally nice. I would certainly recommend CWF and Million Air for anyone visiting the northern or eastern parts of Lake Charles.

I have also been to Million Air's all over the country and this one is just as good or better then others. Huge ramp and easy in and out. Customer service (girls behind the counter) was great as was the line crew. Tower personnel were friendly and easy to work with.

Not a bad place, but I've been to several Million Air's around the country and this one was a little below par. The crew car was not an option unless we bought at least 5 gallons, which turned out $100 hamburger into $150 burger-stop. We were offered the standard Million Air Jaguars until the linemen told us it had been reserved so we were given the Hyundai (only to return to the Jag's still parked there). Not a pleasant experience, but maybe just an off day for Million Air. On a good note, they pointed us in the direction of a great Louisiana style Cajun restaurant- Steamboat Bill's. What a great facility, fantastic service and an example of what a FBO should be. Love the theater room, and the team is great.

Went through twice-once on Friday night to drop off and it looked like I might not make it by 10 PM close and they offered to stay and wait for me. I arrived right at 10PM and they not only waited for me but also took my passengers into town and topped me off for the trip back. Returned on Monday and they took me into town, dropped me off so I could play a bit and grab a bite and they came back to pick my passengers and me up. GREAT SERVICE!!! Their new facilities ROCK!! Weather computers, large lobby, even a theatre!! Definitely the place to stop in Lake Charles!! I'll be back!!!
