After being cutoff by a local making a straight in while I was turning base I sat on the ramp with engine running for 10 minutes trying to get ANYBODY on the radio to tell me where to park to be able to get the fuel truck. Although there was a lot of activity no one seemed to pay any attention. Never got a response. Finally went to the self-serve pump (see my comment on that) and got the hell out of there. Love this place! Stopped in for the Air Races again and couldn't be happier. Staff is great! Tip: Put in your fuel order when arriving to avoid delays departing the Monday following the races. We arrived Monday to a fueled aircraft and were ready to go in no time. Highly, highly recommended. Thanks El Aero!

El Aero had great service, with our rental car ready to go when we arrived at Carson City. They even brought it across the field for us. Note that the El Aero FBO is located on the north side of the field--don't be confused by the El Aero hangar near the terminal building on the south side.

As stated by previous poster, FANTASTIC place to stop for the Reno Races. My first visit, but I'll be back in the future. Friendly, helpful staff. Good facilities. Park on the NW ramp if possible. Thanks!

Best place to go for the Races. Been using this FBO for the last 6 years and they are the best. Saved over 2.00 per gallon over next fuel stop on the way home.
