I am Chief Pilot for a financial company with a King Air based at El Aero. I can't say enough about these folks. They have been wonderful to work with and they handle every aircraft with the same service level as if you are flying a G4. John, Jill, Ron, Vicky, Tim, Al and Randy. Top notch. Signature could learn a thing or two from these people.

A nice stopover but be prepared to tie your plane down yourself. Car rental was easy and our fueling was handled well.

We've been into CXP three times in the last three weeks. As others have mentioned, El Aero service is friendly and excellent. We've had crew car each time for lunch and a business meeting. The only difficulty is finding the place the first time. If you land on 27, go to the very end and taxi to the right. It's back in the corner to the right.

Service is superb. A car was cheerfully delivered to the south ramp with a phone call from that office. After fueling, my imprinted credit card was hanging on the board when I returned, ready to go, no waiting. The north facility may be easier, but the south still works.

We flew into Carson City on Saturday, August 26, for the weekend. El Aero had arranged a rental car for us and it was there as promised. EL Aero even apologized for the sad shape the car was in upon our inspection of the vehicle. It was not a fault of theirs but they took responsibility for the car being very dirty. The next day upon our departure, our plane was fueled quickly and with a smile, and we all said our goodbyes to the dirty rental car. El Aero made our visit enjoyable and were all very helpful.

We passed through CPX on 10-7-05 and used the self-serve fuel in the center of the field. On our return flight on 10-11-05 we called El Aero and told them that we were coming and reserved a car. As with the previous folks, we went to the south office which was closed when we arrived at 1700. We called (thank God for cell phones), and were directed to the NW corner of the field. We were treated very well by all whom we dealt with or met at El Aero, especially Gene, who in addition to fueling our aircraft, was very eager to make sure that we had everything that we needed both when we arrived and when we left. A very positive experience.

Had same problem as previous people - didn't understand that El Aero had two offices. The one we went to on a saturday afternoon was open but vacant. By chance happened to run into Neal and his wife who kindly took us under their wing and we stayed overnite at the nearby Best Western hotel and casino. Nothing overly fancy but friendly. Coming out of CXP on IFR flight plan got 3 changes of routing in less than 5 minutes.

Very positve experience with El Aero. Note however that there is a sign sending transient aircraft to the south end of the field. El Aero main office is at the NW corner of the field. They have a branch office that is virtually not attended on the S side. Go to the main office to make your life easier.
