I fly into DLZ occasionally visit family in the area. Always plenty of room to park (bring tiedowns). I stopped buying fuel here a few years ago when prices started to go up (I40 is has great prices if going east). Prices are almost as high as OSU, which is towered with an ILS. Last visit the FBO (run by the city) was closed when I got there and when I left, which was not welcome after 3 hours in the air. 2 weeks later I got a bill in the mail for $5 a day tiedown fee. If they are going to charge they should at least provide some service like a code to use the bathrooms when they are closed.

What a great stop to drop off passengers in the PC-12! Passengers taken to town in the van and then back to add fuel. Service at 110% and great conversation. An excellent place to experience the reason why I chose aviation as a career 50 years ago.

Charged a $100 ramp fee just to pick up passengers. Seems a bit steep for such a small airport. We'll try to make other arrangements next time.
