About 10 miles from DNA, I called Francis Aviation. A young lady quickly answered and took my request for an avgas top-off and quick turn. The service was quick, professional, and friendly. The clean FBO building has everything a pilot needs, including free cold bottled water. We make regular fuel stops at DNA and LRU and have been very happy with the Francis Aviation service at both airports.

We were ferrying a Helicopter From California and the headwinds got the better of us. We had a low fuel light 5mi from the Final to the airport. We set the helicopter down on a road and Called for assistance. It was actually a little over a 20 mile drive to our location but the airport staff brought us plenty of fuel to get back and top off. They also made sure we had water and food etc. Very thoughtful and professional.

Definite five star FBO. I have stopped here four or five times in the past few years on cross country flights, and spent the night locally on three of those stops. The most recent stop was two weeks ago, we were ferrying two vintage aircraft from Texas to California. It is a nice airport and terrific FBO. They gave us a very nice courtesy car, and since we bought fuel they put both airplanes in a hangar free of charge. The staff is friendly and helpful; this is a highly recommended stop.
