We've flown into this and other Elliott locations in the Midwest (Moline and Flying Cloud)- all have been excellent. DSM location is the nicest facility, folks at all are great- friendly and helpful.

Last week I flew a Pilots N Paws mission to relocate a dog to his forever home who had been hit by a train twice. This poor little guy no longer had use of his back legs. The people at Elliott could not have been nicer or more helpful!! The ramp guy wasted no time in getting us a baggage cart so this little guy could ride from my plane into the FBO. Staff there brought him a bowl of water and treats. Thank you one and all. Your service and kindness have made a lasting impression.

Previous posts indicate a handling fee is charged for charity missions. I was happy to see that the policy must have changed and now supports Angel Flight missions by waiving the ramp fee. Staff even offered a crew car to our passengers to run out for lunch. Thank you for supporting Angel Flight Central and enabling these critical missions for people that need the help!!

In on a Charter. Top notch service, had rental car waiting for passengers. Crew car was great and the girls at the desk gave me good directions for a place to get a run in. Nice shower facilities and a really nice pilot lounge. Elliot is #1 @DSM

Landed for a few day stay in my Mooney. Had a problem with the door upon opening. Staff put the airplane promptly in the shop and fixed the problem correctly and quickly. The price was beyond fair and the service worth much more to me. All the staff was on the same page to provide great service. This was not my first nor my last visit to Elliot. Thanks!

Great FBO! We diverted to KDSM due to weather. Friendly staff helped arrange hotel & shuttle. No tiedown fee with fuel purchase. WIFI and computers available.

Elliott was a great place to stop. I stop here on our way to Boone, IA for a Flying, but needed to stop here to get an iPad at the local Apple, store since Kansas City was completely sold out. I would like to personally thank Tara for being so friendly and helpful with reserving the Crew car. This is a very clean and friendly place to stop and flying into this International Airport was no big deal.

I flew into DSM a few weeks ago on an Angel Flight. I was marshalled into parking but that's the total of the service I received. The patient's family retrieved the baggage and carried it into the terminal themselves. I didn't need fuel but was charged $10.60 for a "handling fee". $0.60 of that was for tax that should not have been charged and subsequently was refunded. I asked if there was a discount for Angel Flights but the man behind the counter had no idea what an Angel Flight was. I sent an email to the person in charge of the facility and was told that they made no exception to the fee for any flight, charitable or not. My feeling is that a company that does not give a break to charitable GA flights is simply not deserving of GA's business. I will not use Elliott Aviation in the future and would suggest other GA pilots do the same. While $10.00 is not a lot of money, the company's refusal to consider the value of charitable flights to the image of GA says it all.

After stepping out of a C182 into a below-zero wind chill, it was great to visit a warm, inviting FBO with a fire going in the fireplace! We were offered complimentary coffee, cappuccino, and hot chocolate right away after coming in from the cold. The facility is nice with multiple computers for Internet and WSI weather. We had the plane refueled and put in a heated hangar overnight. The employee had the hotel van there to pick us up before we could even blink. The next day the line service workers waited patiently while we preflighted in the hangar, and towed us outside after we climbed into the plane. The next time I visit somewhere that is -3 degrees; I hope the service is as good as it was here. Thanks Elliott!

Elliott was very quick on a top off turn, marshaled in and didn't wait at all for the fueling. I'll be back to utilize some of their other services soon. Thanks!

I had this airport in my flight plan on returning from Denver, but after seeing the fuel prices are at least $1 per gallon more than other area airports (OTM), I figure that Des Moines does NOT want small GA traffic. I'll go elsewhere.

It's hard to imagine how an FBO could be friendlier or more helpful. Our experience was great. We needed to wait out some weather in Chicago. Without a reservation, we were cheerfully given a near new Ford Fusion to go to a restaurant. The staff gave my kids paper and crayons to play with. The new facility is beautiful with good planning rooms. Strongly recommended. Thank you to the staff!

Flew in for a quick in and out...Marshaled me in, no problem with getting a crew car, and I was on my way. Picked up a hat at the gift shop to sport their name a little to my fellow fliers. Counter personnel were top notch.. Friendly, knowledgeable, and just overall a pleasure to deal with. Will be back for sure next time I'm at DSM

These guys are amazing. I was recently stuck here while enroute from Minneapolis to central Missouri. I waited around for 5 hours before deciding on a hotel room. They let me take a car (free of charge) to get dinner, had a pilot's lounge with amazing chairs for catching a little nap, found me a hotel room and made sure I was all taken care of. There is a $10 ramp fee if you don't buy gas, but it was well worth it for the exquisite level of service.

Lets just say this; when ever possible I will include an Elliot Aviation airport in my flight plan. I'll even go a little out of the way to do it. I've never had a bad experience. Thanks guys for being there.
