Pulling up to Sunset Aviation no one came out to assist or guide me. I parked in the white box with Sunset Aviation written on it and shut down. Only then did some one come out and proceed to tell me in a rude fashion that I couldn't park there and that they were not an FBO only a charter company. After a brief hassle they decided they could fuel the plane. Seemed a bit disorganized. Next time I'll go to SFO and pay the higher price for better service.

Sunset Aviation has provided excellent fuel service (I did not have many bad experiences with the previous vendor, EMC, either). The personnel are cheerful (usually!) and always friendly. Definitely not the place to stop for a good deal on fuel, though. EMC used to be a bit more expensive than average, but Sunset 100LL is about 10% above average - BUT the line guys have uniforms, the trucks are cleaner and their radios (122.85) are better.

Sunset took over fuel services at Gnoss in late 2005 and has transformed it. The service is now prompt and courteous and you get a bag of their signature jelly belly jelly beans to boot! Suggest that you both call them when you want fuel at 415 897-1653 and radio them on 122.85 in case they are out on the field.
