I rented an Arrow from Dan at Lakeview. The plane was nice and had a Garmin 530 in it. Dan treated me like a pilot and it was a terrific experience. Nice place... Nice people...

I've bad news to report... The Dinner here has closed as of December '06. We all loose when a good Airport Dinner goes out. Good Night Sleeping Gryphon.

Aside from the friendly service at the FBO, it should be noted that there is also a very good restaurant at the field. The Sleeping Gryphon Cafe is open for breakfast lunch and dinner. The food was very good and in portions you would expect at a country dinner. All in all a great FBO/restaurant/airport

A great fly-in to snow ski destination. Transient hangar space usually available. Multiple outlet's for engine heater's with extension cord's ready to plug in. Very helpful staff (Dan) and rental car service (Hays Ford) very reliable. Jay Peak Ski area well worth skiing.
