About Cutter Aviation
Founded in 1928, Cutter Aviation is America's oldest continually family-owned FBO and aviation service company. In operation for over 80 years, Cutter Aviation operates at eight major airports in the Southwestern United States. Cutter locations in Arizona (Deer Valley and Phoenix Sky Harbor), New Mexico (Albuquerque) and Texas (Dallas Executive, McKinney, El Paso and San Antonio) and Colorado (Colorado Springs) provide a wide range of services to transient and based aircraft including fuel and FBO service, maintenance, avionics, new and pre-owned aircraft sales and charter and aircraft management.

The Phoenix, Deer Valley, Albuquerque, and Dallas Executive facilities are full-service, fixed-base operations, with El Paso, McKinney and Colorado Springs providing line services for transient aircraft. San Antonio provides new and pre-owned aircraft sales as well as maintenance.

Looking Back
Continuously family-owned for eight decades, the company originated as Cutter Flying Service Inc., in Albuquerque. William P. Cutter envisioned a business that would serve the fledgling aviation community - and the resulting enterprise exceeded his expectations. The company survived the Great Depression, and, at the outbreak of World War II, became major pilot training facility for the military. In 1947, the company began its long-standing affiliation with Beech Aircraft Corporation. Since that time, the Cutter name became, and continues to be, synonymous with major and emerging aircraft brands ranging from piston singles to light and medium turbine aircraft.

Looking Ahead
Over the years, Cutter has maintained a position of leadership in the general aviation community by consistently expanding its services and its locations. Cutter Aviation, Inc., opened its Phoenix operation in 1959. The El Paso facility opened in 1982, Deer Valley followed in 1997, San Antonio in 1998, Dallas in 2002, and McKinney and Colorado Springs in 2006. Cutter remains strong due to an unwavering commitment to customer service, customer and employee satisfaction, and business practices rooted in our core values of respect, trust and integrity.

Company President Will Cutter reinforces this: "These are key ingredients to a formula that has kept us at the forefront of the industry. They have helped us establish a reputation that we are all proud of. Our values have served us well for eighty years, and without them, Cutter would be just another run-of-the-mill service station for airplanes."

Very friendly staff. Joe the lineman was very helpful. They provided courtesy transportation to and from the hotel.

Cutter has moved to a new facility a little further east, away from the airline terminal. Everything shiny and new of course, but it's Cutter's people that make them better. I called fifteen minutes out on their ARINC frequency, asked the nice lady for someone to handle two minor repairs and fueling when I arrived. Cutter crew member Joe brought his screw drivers and super glue as requested on arrival and fixed both with a smile, pronto for our quick turn back out of there to Las Vegas.

I would normally stop at Atlantic since I have a Chevron card but this Atlantic did not accept so I decided to try Cutter. Boy, I was not disappointed. Terrific FBO and great staff. Helped find me a hotel as well a ride to/from airport. You cannot go wrong at Cutter. Keep up the good work.

I just want to comment that Cutter Aviation at El Paso is one the top spots that we go to. The people are very friendly, and they give you very good services. I recommend you go and visit Cutter Aviation at El Paso. That’s why every time we fly somewhere we always look for a Cutter Aviation FBO, and that’s also why we've started to use Cutter at KCOS (Colorado Springs)

Stopped at KELP on 05/08 for about an hour to fill up on fuel and get some lunch. Everyone was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. They took us to a local restaurant and waited there in the van while we ate. A special thanks goes to the line service guys J.R. And Joe.

From Glenn Warren on 20-Apr-2009
I have flown to KELP several times a month for over a year. The guys that work the line are very friendly and helpful. The CSR`s at the front desk have taken care of all my hotel needs, car rentals, etc...... If you are visiting the area, contact Annie Moreno. She keeps a calendar that list local activities and special events that will keep you entertained while your there.

Great facility was able to catch some March Madness in the pilot's lounge during my stop! Expensive fuel, but quality and friendly line service and front desk.

From Austin Teunissen on 27-Mar-2009
I've been to this FBO about 30 times in the last three years and their service has been consistently excellent. The fueling is quick and rides to or from the hotel happen as soon as they are requested.

From Karl Gross on 14-Dec-2008
Nice stop on a windy day. The folks at Cutter did a nice job, offered a ride, quickly topped etc even on my little old Mooney. Their competition on the field doesn't play well with others, and with this good of service, there's no reason to go anywhere else! Ask for the weekend fuel price discount, too. Recommended.

From Brent Nelson on 26-Nov-2008
Flew to El Paso to pick up some foreign exchange students from Africa. I wasn't sure when they could leave UTEP so I opted not to use the shuttle service. The courtesy cars were gone so they let me use a rental car for no charge. This place is one of the best FBO's in the country. Very friendly staff.

From Geza Kalman on 12-Nov-2008
Cutter was very helpful in arranging late-night RON accommodations close-by and our Piper single was fueled and ready to go early in the morning - all at prices we found very reasonable for a "big-city" airport. We never considered the unmentionable FBO next door - since they pulled their AirNav listings some time ago. It was unmistakable which ramp had all the activity. Way to go Cutter!

From Claudio Losacco on 21-Sep-2008
Flew in to ELP and Cutter Aviation on a cross-country fuel stop a couple weeks ago. The line staff and the ladies inside were fantastic. Courtesy ride to / from a nearby restaurant. All around great service for our quick turn. Recommend Cutter.

From James Fleck on 10-Sep-2008
Excellent service. Roi on the line was great. .75 discount for avgas on the weekends was nice. Highly recommend.

From Jim Parrish on 08-Sep-2008
Landing at the larger airports with the chain FBOs is always a little scary. Will they gig me on tie-down? Would they just as soon I'd go somewhere else? No fears with Cutter ELP. Tie-down was only $4.50 per night. They advised me to delay fueling until the weekend to save $0.75 per gallon. Roi, the line guy, was very helpful. Cutter is great!

From Ted Louis Glenn on 22-Jul-2008
I was here earlier this month. Very friendly and professional service. They took me to get lunch and then later to my hotel (they have a special rate with nearby Hawthorn Suites of $79 per night for one king bed non-smoking). Overnight parking fee is $4.50. When I called the next morning for a pick-up they were at the hotel within minutes.

From Richard Gross on 02-Jun-2008
Stopped by at Cutter for fuel due to headwinds and found the staff there to be professional and extremely helpful during our brief stopover. They even drove us to a restaurant and waited while we picked up food! Highly recommended!! An especially nice touch was the thank you card I received in the mail from Cutter.

From Chuck Imken on 15-May-2008
Nice people work at Cutter Aviation. We had advance reservations for 6 days parking & 30 gallons of fuel, but bought only 10 gallons because of having to stop at Pecos first for fuel due to headwinds and diverting around bad weather. However, we were still given VIP treatment. Also, parking was only $4.50 a night--compared to $30.00 a night at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank last September. Battery was dead upon leaving but they quickly and cheerfully gave us a jump-start. Thanks Cutter. We'll be back.

From Scott Ryder on 30-Mar-2008
Very good service but they lack in answering the Unicom frequency later on in the evening.

From Ryan Joseph on 23-Nov-2007
Stopped for fuel, nice facility. I had a quick turnaround and the staff was efficient. Long taxi from RWY 04/22 to Cutter, overall positive experience though.

From Christopher Dean on 26-Sep-2007
The crew at Cutter were great in the afternoon on 9-25-07. We arrived in El Paso to clear customs. Cutter had their truck ready at the Customs Ramp. The two line crew fueled fast, safe, and efficiently. We were done with customs and fueling in 25 minutes. Thanks to the Cutter staff and crew!

From Randy Bremmer on 25-Jul-2007
Very helpful service crew. I had called ahead for a rental car that I could take across the border and the car was waiting and ready. Beautiful facility. Be aware though, that for a small aircraft like my C206, there is a $20 ramp fee, waved if you buy a minimum of $20 in fuel. That's not much fuel at $5.71/gal for 100LL, but if you'd rather get a few gallons of fuel for that $20 (in addition to the service), I suggest you personally monitor the addition of those 3.5 gallons to your tank. Why? Either my bird burned an additional 0.7gal/hr above normal on this particular flight then went back to normal on the next flight, or those 3+ gallons never made it into my tank.

From Rob Tommasone on 08-May-2007
Beautiful facility, alert and energetic line and desk crews. But, holy cow over $5/gal for AVGAS! I took on minimum fuel and went on my way.

From Ron Hester on 21-Mar-2007
Line services did not see us (they said) WOW over $5.00 a gal keep flying 41 miles and save $2.00 a gal.

From Chad Forster on 15-Mar-2007
Have stopped here twice and have had good service both times in a 172. I have bummed rides from them to a hotel on both occasions. It's pricey, but not too unreasonable. Staff is nice and plane is always ready when I got there in the morning.

From Keith Butler on 02-Feb-2007
Very pricey fuel and you get the privilege of paying extra for a bottle of water. Not recommended.

From Ray Meyer on 28-Jan-2007
Stopped in on the way to NBAA. Piper Lance was parked promptly. CSR made hotel reservation for us and line crew shuttled us there. Very friendly and professional. Good job.

From Benjamin Redman on 29-Nov-2006
Great experience at Cutter! JR the line guy was a great help and showed us where everything was in town. They also will shuttle you around town to eat. Go to Carlos & Mickey’s for the best food in town. Beautiful FBO!
