I stop here to park for a day or two to visit family. Small field with lots of training on good weather days. Use the CTAF. Back taxi on runway as the grass is rough (for my Mooney anyway). Tie down is on mowed grass. Bring your own ropes to make sure you have good ropes for tie down. Lighted at night with 100 watt bulbs and mason jars covering lights. Fuel pump works, meter does not but the receipt is correct when it prints out. Fuel price is good too. ATC by phone, not by radio on ground. All in all a nice little old time, local, community airport.

I stopped there for fuel on May 21. The fuel pump works—in the sense that it pumps fuel!!—But the meter doesn't work. It won't reset to zero so unless you do the math it's impossible to know how much fuel was dispensed and the price/gallon isn't displayed. Plus the credit card reader doesn't print receipts—all of which is to say the price of fuel is a mystery.

I have based my Cherokee at Weiser for over 6 years now. Took lessons, obtained my private and IFR certifications at WEISER. Made many lifetime friends at Weiser including Mr. Cecil Weiser himself who has just celebrated his 82 anniversary of his birth. Clyde has always been kind and helpful. Depend on him to be there bright and early everyday. Two flight schools and helicopter facility on the field for training pilot want-to-bees. Harold Wilson and Jason Paradis of Wilsons Aircraft provide excellent repair service and advise. Many thanks to all MY FRIENDS at WEISER AIRPARK.

This airpark has been my base for over two years now; the friends that I have made at EYQ and the training by some very experienced flight instructors will not be forgotten. The owner of the airpark is seen nearly on a daily bases and delivers snacks and friendly conversation to all the locals. Feel free to park your aircraft on the many parking spots; the fuel is self service, and very close to the runway. The taxi time is next to nothing to and from the pads. Come and check out the flight school!
