Downturn obviously having impact on service at the FBO. But airports proximity to commuter rail into DC makes it a very good option. Bonnie from Richard Johnson Inn B&B picked me up at FBO and enjoyed great room, cookies and in room comp brandy! Walk to train next morning after included breakfast. Best way to deal with DC traffic!

The FBO is great! Friendly service from a step back in time facility. Beware of Enterprise rental car service from the AirNav link. I arrived to find no car and the customer service was terrible from the local office that supported my reservation. Be sure to CALL the actual office to confirm. My call was answered by the corporate call center that told me everything was set up--NOT.

What a great airport! Friendly people, terrific service, and you can walk to the Wawa and Subway Deli's for great food and drink. I highly recommend Shannon for a delightful destination.
