Great place to stop, landed for a business meeting, and cab was promptly arranged for us and overall experience was very pleasant! Runway was not in bad as condition as we thought and airport is good clean restrooms etc. Will stop again soon!

Landed at Festus on May 29 to spend the weekend. I was promptly met at the fuel pumps and welcomed. I was then offered a T-hangar with predicted storms in the nest few days. Glad I did for $15 a night with two nights of heavy storms. Very friendly, just like when I lived there over 50 years ago.

Landed at Festus at approx 9pm due to a weather diversion. The airport manager, Steve Vogt, and a few students were luckily still at the terminal finishing up a ground school course. Too bad they didn't have skirts and pom poms for the arrival celebration!! Steve was magnificent--- allowed me to stay the night in the FBO to weather out the storm; went way out of his way to ensure I was set for the evening before leaving for the evening.

Always friendly, lots of hangar flying. Reasonable fuel prices...And way more convenient to South St Louis County locations

Flew into KFES last weekend and found the runway in better than what I'd consider the "poor" condition. Everyone at the FBO was very nice. Rhonda helped me fuel and I believe Mike (didn't get his name) helped me with a troubling tie down experience. Steve was a great help with finding weather info for my departure into stormy skies on sunday. Great experience and I will fly back to KFES in the future.
Response from Steve Vogt, Board Chairman-CAEE, Festus Airport Services / CAEE Good things are happening at the airport. We are working on the new Jet-A tank project among other things. Meeting nite is still the 1st Monday at 7pm. Thanks to all our recent visitors. You are very important to us!
