From Dave Haak on 09-Jul-2009: FKS has doubled their overnight ramp fees in 2009. This year fees are bordering on the ridiculous! $10 ramp fee waivable w/ 10 gallons of $4.99 gas. $10 overnight fee not waivable, $60 for the week and $200 for the month! Tied down! Last I checked they had a hangar for $125/mo, but that was years ago. For all those fees, you need to bring your own ropes as well!
From Rich Swortzel on 06-Jul-2009: Very nice airport. Thank you Frankfort. There is a $10 ramp fee waivable with 10 Gallons of fuel. Small expense to help keep up the airport in my opinion.
From John Hartnell on 18-Jun-2009: Having landed at Frankfort I sat in plane on ramp waiting approx. 1 hour for passenger. A gentleman approached and said I owe 10$ ramp fee. This is a first with over 8000 hours in single engine to have this experience.
From Ben Motisher on 21-Apr-2009: I flew into Frankfort on April 14, and also rented a car from Terry's Auto Sales based on the comment below. Very satisfied...Car was waiting at the airport as promised, and at a reasonable price for a day rental.
From Alex Enyedi on 25-Oct-2008: Very nice unattended airport; Washrooms and WX available inside facility building. Self-serve 100LL. No courtesy car but rental car (short-term) available from Terry's Auto Sales (231-352-9323). Call ahead and the car will be waiting for you at the airport.
