This is a follow up comment to my previous write up about Wiseman Aviation at FLG. I received a call from their office manager today inquiring about my comment, specifically about the fueling and oxygen service that wasn't completed when I arrived at the plane. I'm impressed that management would call with a concern about that situation. Speaks well for their philosophy towards line service. I need to note that I called the previous evening requesting the service after I arrived at my hotel. I was not in a hurry and the morning delay was not a factor for me. I honestly feel it was a one of those "slip through the cracks" things that happens even with the best FBOs. (I had a major FBO run out of avgas in Miami one time and I had to wait three hours) No one asked me to write this review, I'm doing so because I honestly feel Wiseman is a high class operation who just had a snafu event in this instance. I would definitely stop at Wiseman in FLG again. Nice place, nice people all.

Beautiful FBO building and good service for the most part. Plane not charged with oxygen when I arrived.... I decided against needed more anyway, and not fueled. Line guys were a happy group and met the plane on arrival and were very helpful. Customer service was top notch. Talk with Shirley Pollard if you get a chance, she's from Zimbabwe and has a great British accent....... And was very helpful. A really nice FBO with some very nice people.

This was our first stop as we headed across the country. It is a small place but has everything you need. A friendly lineman stopped over to see if we needed a top-off, a warm and courteous woman at the front desk took our credit card and told us how to hop on the WiFi. It's too bad they don't have a tiny pilots' lounge with a pair of recliners, because it feels like the sort of place people might be waiting out the weather. I snoozed for fifteen minutes on their couch and they were nice enough to turn off the XM station (40s on 40) that plays at an apparently uncontrollable volume ("I can't turn it down, but I'm happy to turn it off, I need a break.").

Good fuel prices. Restaurant is open and they have to-go food. Wiseman staff offered us a ride to the restaurant and back. Wiseman has a great facility as well.

Called to reserve a car prior to arriving. "Do you have a hotel room yet?" "Yes" "How much are you paying?" "$xxxx" "That's too much. Let me book you one on our corporate rate." And the line service is top notch, too.

Flew in for an iPad Workshop hosted in the Wiseman hangar. I was marshaled in and before I knew it, the lineman had tied down my aircraft. Very professional.

Everyone is helpful, friendly, welcoming at FLG. They all work as a team and are happy to be there. We have been flying into FLG for over 20yrs and love it.

I had an alternator failure on my Arrow which threatened a long planned cross country, Wiseman Aviation and their friendly staff went well out of their way to order a new part for next day delivery and installation at very reasonable cost. I highly recommend them.

Cessna 421's are always a pain to start in the winter - even worse if you forget your cowl covers and leave it on the ramp overnight. After 30 minutes of trying to get her started, the owner of Wiseman tried to lend me a hand. After a bit, we tried the tug to get some more amps on the situation - no go. They then pulled me over for a hookup to the ground power unit - which gave me the power we needed to get started and head home. I really appreciated their extra help. It was getting a bit cold and late in the day - of which my family was ready to be done with. Thanks for the assistance!!

Performed jet training out of the airport over a 3-day period. All Line and Service personnel assisted us to complete our mission in a timely manner. As needed, we will return for the high altitude training experience.

We stopped in for 3 nights earlier this month in our PA32. We received excellent service. Our rental car was waiting as promised. Oxygen serviced without any problems. Would highly recommend!

FANTASTIC FBO. They did everything right... Booked a great hotel with a very nice discount, aired up my tires for free (an FBO in Oakland wanted to charge me $85 for that service!), arranged rides, and topped me off in a speedy manner. Highly Recommended!

We are lucky enough to visit Wiseman Aviation on a regular basis in our King Air. The wonderful staff and facilities are great. The Wiseman family takes care of you like you are family. They are most professional and attentive. Flagstaff is a great place to stop for fuel or to visit.

Didn't buy gas or anything, just dropped off a passenger. They seemed to have their act together. Line guy met us in a follow me cart without any delay whatsoever. Super helpful.

Came into KFLG on Christmas Eve with family in our Malibu Mirage for a beautiful white Christmas. We were met with the typically helpful reception by Wiseman Aviation staff. Came back today (12-26) to prep the airplane for our return trip only to find that a main gear strut had lost its pressure and was compressed nearly to the stop. I needed help. Wiseman had provided this day as a staff holiday but, the Wiseman family members (Emily and Grant) were dutifully holding down the fort. Orville (owner) came out himself to try to get me going but found it needed more professional attention so he and Emily reached one of their technicians at home who then quickly came in to add some nitrogen to the strut. After a short wait, he (Jeff) arrived and had the service done quickly, congenially, and well before my "have to go" time. To top off this level of service, when we came back with family and gear to load up, Orville met us with all paperwork done and a thoughtful holiday gift. Well done!

We recently spent 3 days at Wiseman Aviation visiting Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Due to an unexpected snowstorm we had to change our plans. One call to Jen at Wiseman solved all our problems. She extended our car rental and booked us a great room at a great price. The lineman and Mr. Wiseman were helpful in snow removal and getting my plane ready to fly. Filled my oxygen tank on a Sunday! Great experience. A full service FBO. Hope to return.

We stayed six nights at KFLG while visiting the Grand Canyon. The people at Wiseman Aviation provided friendly and helpful service for us. A line person even came by while we were off visiting to redress the loose ends of the tie down straps of which I did a less than stellar job. The fuel prices at the self service pumps were reasonable. We received great service from one of the line people to transport ourselves and our luggage to the terminal to pick up our rental car.

Parked my Baron there over the Memorial Day weekend. They tied down the plane and took us and our gear to the terminal for our rental car. On return, untied the plane, helped us load our gear and called National to pickup their car. They waived one night's $10 tie down fee with a fuel purchase. The Self Serve was convenient and reasonably priced. Also a picnic table in the shade where we ate lunch before our departure. Could not have asked for anything else.

I flew into KFLG, folks at Wiseman Aviation are a class act! Very nice and friendly! Northern Arizona had a historic winter storm for two days during our stay at Grand Canyon. Upon our return the aircraft was covered in snow and frozen. Temperature on Friday was -17C. They pulled out an aircraft out of their heated hangar to ours in it. The preheated my plane and off we went with no trouble. They were wonderful and a lifesaver. I would visit and recommended Wiseman Aviation to all pilots.

Landed at FLG yesterday just to try landing and takeoff at the high altitude turned out to be no big deal). Tower and Ground controllers were very polite, friendly and efficient. Excellent runway and taxiways.
