Based out of KFLG for 3 weeks. Clean, modern facilities with friendly staff. However, one of the higher 100LL prices in the area. Averaged more than 30 cents higher than surrounding airports. Based here for bulk oxygen, which was also more expensive than we've ever paid at $60 per fill-up. Well staffed, however, we ended up parking and tying ourselves down 90% of the time. Frequently watched an aircraft land, taxi to the ramp and wait for someone to park them, which sometimes never happened. We also had to dodge ties down and chocks that were left lying on the ramp. On one occassion they ran out of fuel, 3/4 of the way thru fueling our aircraft. Not sure how you don't anticipate this. We were left with an uneven load and only enough fuel for a partial day. Received fuel the following day, but not in time to finish topping us off for the next flight. Paid full-service prices, but definitely not a full service FBO. Expected a more professional environment. Would go elsewhere next time.

Always a great experience at Wiseman. We use Wiseman several times a month with the flight school I work. Called ahead one flight and told them I would be landing after 6pm and was asking about info on getting fuel after hours, the lady on phone told me not to worry they would wait until we got there. Also, love the cats...

Very nice FBO with nice people working at it too. They have good coffee, a nice pilot shop, good wx computers, clean restrooms .... everything a pilot could need. The airport setting is gorgeous too, set among pine trees.

My daughter goes to school a NAU here and my wife and I fly in frequently. These guys are first class in all aspects. They are always there to firmly tie the plane down. Reasonable prices. I would highly recommend Wiseman Aviation and Pulliam Airport for your next stop in Northern Arizona.

Good, friendly service. Minor maintenance problem taken care of while we were at Grand Canyon, cost was reasonable. Very satisfied, hope to return.

Initial rough start. Landed shortly after scheduled closure. Tower kind enough to send pick up truck to plane to take wife, luggage and I to main terminal. Luckily we could get a car (last one available). Left voice mail and email with FBO. Within 2 hours received abject apology. They knew we were coming (IFR flight plan), lineman who was to wait just didn't. Owner and manager both talked to my wife and I, could not apologize enough and took steps so it would not happen to others. On departure were very helpful in getting luggage to plane and making sure we were happy. I WOULD RETURN.

Parked, tied down (it's their policy with the shifting western winds), refueled and on way in 25 minutes. Excellent service, good weather room.

Having enjoyed the courteous service at the Wiseman facility at FLG several times I was pleased to discover they now also operate the FBO at KINW Winslow, and that the same pleasant operation is in place there.

Unplanned stop at noon on the Saturday after July 4th. The young lady at the front counter was very helpful arranging hotel and rental car. Service was very good, however the line guys with the golf carts could have offered to haul our luggage - even though we were in a lowly 172... Overall, a memorably pleasant experience.

Stopped to refuel on way to Denver. Very clean facility and self serve was excellent. Nice flight planning room. Staff helpful as well. Told them they need new ladder for refueling before some one gets hurt and they were very attentive. Definite recommendation to stop here.

Ditto the previous positive comments regarding Wiseman line service folks and facilities. These folks use all their efforts to make the stop at this FBO a positive experience.

Nice FBO, Great linemen! We had just a quick stop on our way to Salt Lake and all the staff was able to make the fuel up fast. Also wanted to send out a warning--Watch the density altitude, when we were there the DA on the field was 10000 and we were in a 172, this made it a difficult climb to the west. All in all we had a great time.

Concur with the other commenters: Was met on the ramp by line staff. Front desk staff friendly. Free wireless internet. Only two negatives: Hardly any snacks available, and didn't wash my windshield even though I bought fuel. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

This was my second visit to Wiseman in the past three years and I found the service better than the last time. I encountered some headwinds that delayed my arrival until after closing and it was dark, windy with the temp dropping to freezing. As I taxied in, I was sure that I would have to figure out where to park and hunt up some tie-downs. Then appeared Joel in a golf cart to assist with unloading and tie down. First he whisked the Bride off the ramp to a warm room. Returned and took the load to a rental car that he started and had all pre-flighted warmed up and running prior to my exiting the FBO. He had stayed late watching the progress on the flight-tracker until we arrived. Prior to departure, I found my Mooney being preheated as requested and ready to go. The service, plus the fire and cat (Cessna and Stealth) distraction for the wife, made the visit a real pleasure. I will use again in the future...

Wiseman Aviation is a real treat. Everything an FBO should be. We were met by two linemen and asked about our needs like a car and help with our luggage, even before we got out of the plane. The FBO itself is beautiful -- not large but very tastefully decorated in a warm, inviting, Western sort of way. A crew car was not available, but they quickly arranged an inexpensive rental so that we could go into the town (10 min away), which is worth seeing.

Diverted from Sedona in bad IFR and a driving rain. Great people, warm fire in lobby, friendly pet cats, family-run, couldn't be better. Very helpful getting a car. Made us feel welcome.

We made an overnight stop on October 5, 2006. Be prepared for a surprise if this will be your first time to FLG. The Wiseman FBO is a notch above 95% of the FBO's I have seen. Comfortable, nicely appointed and staffed by professionals. Wide ranges of services are available to the Skyhawk or Citation driver.

We had a great experience with Wiseman last weekend. Our flight school organized a fly out to Grand Canyon Caverns (Peach Springs), with a fuel stop at Flagstaff on the way home. Joel and the crew handled our 7 planes quickly and efficiently despite not being advised of our pending arrival. The FBO is first-class, and the airport cats are great! Thanks! Colorado Flight Center

A great support company. After my AC went down on a mechanical, the crew at Wiseman provided exceptional assistance, accommodations, and resources to repair the AC. If you fly over northern AZ, do yourself a favor and divert to KFLG and visit Wiseman Aviation.

Self-serve fuel pump has large digital read out of gallons pumped that can be seen from at least 50 feet away. Price was reasonable and exactly as posted on AirNav. Nice bathrooms and free iced tea and coffee. Temps were much cooler than Phoenix!

On 6/04 I flew my C310 (N6918L) from GNC to FLG to drop passengers and next to SJC. The Wiseman facility is outstanding. The fuel pump is the most updated digital pump; passenger terminal, lounge and restroom first class. It is terrific operation, with OK fuel price and superb service. My wife was taken to Avis and unloading help was provided. Sadly as we attempted to start the engines the starter quit. Orville Wiseman the owner, pilot and guardian angel was just amazing. He asked Russ Monroe (MP) to come in (On Sunday) to fix the starter. A starter that matched the engine was found and within 1.5 hours we were on our way to SJC. I found Orville and his team just amazing. The tremendous support, interest and care that they provide to customers are just incredible. Wiseman Aviation is clearly the best operation I had the opportunity to enjoy in my 25 years of flying in the USA. Orville, Russ and the rest of the team. Thank you.

Nice group of people. Assisted me with parking, tie downs, unloading the airplane, and even a ride into the terminal. High DA precluded refueling, but their service was very good in all other respects.

FIRST CLASS service at FAIR prices... We had a wx diversion en rte from MO to CA... In CO after the local FBO had closed early, we decided to press on south to find an airport with reasonable accommodations... Called and Orville (owner) answered phone 4pm on Sunday and did everything... Arranged for transport to hotel.. Guaranteed discounted hotel reservation on HIS credit card.. Gave me all info to arrive at 10pm (after tower closed)... GREAT service... And next day got to see his FBO.... Great Place...

Services were great on diversion to FLG after some strong headwinds on 3/3 heading to CA. Line guy was out right away to help tie down in 25 kt + winds/gusts and fuel the aircraft. However, they could use Wi-Fi or some internet connection ability for pilots to access Duats, etc. WSI is a great tool but also being able to file online would be nice also. Great place to overnight and make sure to check out the restaurant at the terminal where we were served a great lunch.

Nicolle Russell did an outstanding job for us on our two separate visits. From setting up auto rentals, as well as hotel reservations. I kept making it difficult for her by changing arrival dates and times; she smiled all the time and was a great help. The ground crew was first class.

Nice professional FBO. Had a cold battery that didn't want to turn over and they helped us charge it up with their cart. Also got us CHEAP room reservation at La Quinta that I thought was very nice.
