Flew in to Florence, SC, on 1/10/12 to deliver a sweet English bulldog to a rescuer as part of a Pilots N Paws rescue flight. The FBO was just wonderful giving us quick and friendly service, a fuel discount and offering use of a courtesy car. We did not use the car, as we wanted to be sure to get home to Virginia before dark. The folks here were extremely gracious and we certainly plan to return.

Stopped in for fuel on a cross-country in a Cherokee 180. Line crew was waiting as I shut down. Quick and easy refuel, staff was very friendly. Great place to stop.

Florence Aviation helped organize a mass dog/cat rescue in support of Pilots-N-Paws. Their line staff provided excellent customer service and exhibited professionalism throughout the two-day event. They shuttled the pilots around, in their golf carts, so we would not get wet from the constant rain showers. They directly contributed to saving over 150 animals.

Great hospitality at Florence Aviation. Flew in with my family on the way to Orlando from Manassas. Offered an AOPA members discount on fuel. Darlene was very nice, hooked us up with a crew car. Went into town for a bite to eat while a thunderstorm passed over. Controllers were very pleasant. I highly recommend stopping in.

Excellent experience. Had an alternator failure enroute from Daytona Beach to Manassas. Diverted to KFLO. The personnel at Florance Aviation could not have been better. Since it was a Saturday, they helped arrange a rental car and on Monday Maurice had the problem diagnosed (bad alternator) and installed a new one. We returned on Thursday, the airplane was in the cool hangar with the alternator working perfectly. I highly recommend Florence Aviation and will be stopping there again.
