Arrived at Florence SC in route in our Aeronca sedan from Maine. Deran Peters was very helpful in finding a room at a good rate and a ride to the FBO. Ginny also was very helpful calling a taxi. Shay was at the counter and at the stroke of 5 pm ran out the door in mid conversation. Poor service on her part.

June 24, 2017 from 60J to KFQD. Lost GPS in front of approaching WX so landed at KFLO. General Aviation FBO lineman Bobby Cook was excellent. He helped us in locating a rental car, let us use their courtesy car to go pickup rental. Was very pleasant and offered many tips on the airport there. Great service!

Stopped on the way from NJ to FL on 4/1/17 and again on the return 4/7/17. Both times service was excellent. Lineman guided us in, asked what we needed, promptly fueled us (both times at $5.13/gal FS including taxes), gave us a ride to the FBO (which is new and very pleasant), moved our plane to a tie down spot and helped us find a motel. All personnel we met were very pleasant and helpful. The only down side (not their fault) is that none of the nearby hotels/motels have shuttle service anymore and a taxi ride is about $20.00 each way.

Update to last comment- did get refund on the overcharge.

Bad experience on fuel stop last week. Self-serve wouldn't work, and then got overcharged after being told I'd get self serve price. Had to run card again (5 times! On this card!) to try to get correct price so credit card stopped working due to suspected fraud. Used another card and got correct price, but once home found out I was charged twice for the fuel. Attempting to get resolution, but so far no luck. Will avoid this airport in the future!
