Each time I stop at FSK, I feel welcome and it is exactly what I look for in a FBO at a GA airport. Quick, easy, and everything I need.

I need to echo other comments below! I nominate Kenny for worlds best FBO manager. I was enroute from TUL to LRY. Thunderstorms forced me to make unscheduled stop at FSK. Kenny cam out after hours, put away the plane for the night, and loaned me the courtesy car. On recent trips, I have paid ramp fees, parking fees, and landing fees (a friend just paid a Gulf Coast clean up fee) - none of these at FSK. Refreshing - Go out of your way to stop here.

For those into night cross-countries, mark this spot on your charts. 24/7 self-serve fuel and access to weather computer are a must for night flying. In fact, the three times I've stopped here have all been at night!

On a recent trip from OKC to IXD, thunderstorms prevented our return and we had to divert to FSK. Kenny, the manager there went out of his way to accommodate us. He hangared our plane at no charge to keep it out of the storms and gave us a courtesy car to use to get something to eat. Upon our return he let us spend the night at the FBO and pretty much did everything he could to make our stay pleasant. His gas prices were very low and we topped the airplane. I would highly rate this airport and the manager and would recommend this place to everyone whether you need fuel or just a place to stop over and rest.

Noting that FSK had no rental cars I filed for Pittsburg. A late start and weather caused me to arrive after Enterprise closed at PTS and they wouldn't leave the car at the FBO. Ronnie at FSK told me to come on in and I could have the Courtesy car. Service was over the top friendly and the gas was $1.00/gal. Cheaper than PTS. Lyons Inn is also one great B&B. Kudos to Ft. Scott!!

Last gas stop on a trip from Atlanta to Wichita. Great prices, and the FBO manager helped with fueling even though it was self-service. I think he enjoys the company...Lets him get off the mower or out of the office!

Outstanding FBO. Best gas price I found on whole trip. Friendly Service, courtesy car, what more could you ask. Highly Recommended. Hint: If you depart in bad wx, get clearance before you take off.

Flew in to get gas ($2.98) and was met by Ken. Very helpful and courteous, he helped pump the gas and then went back to mowing. Self serve gas pump. Small FBO with sufficient amenities (AC, clean bathroom, vending). Wish I could fly in every day at those gas prices!

This is my idea for the general aviation airport. Great friendly people, good fuel prices, service above and beyond the call. I have yet to have a bad or even mediocre experience here. It is what aviation use to be. Great work, Kenny and crew!!

Great Stop! Very nice terminal and flight planning area. Fuel Price as posted on AirNav. New spacious parking tie down area. Kenny is the friendliest and most helpful person you could imagine. Found space to get the Bonanza hangared when severe weather threatened. Visit historic Ft. Scott downtown. Nat'l Park Svc. Frontier fort site, restored barracks, stables, walking tours, etc.
