Easy in and out fuel stop. Nice facilities.

Stopped in yesterday in a turboprop for some fuel, and three guys virtually descended on the aircraft: they had the hoses out and the stairs positioned before I got the cabin doors open (note it is likely normal self serve). This place is a pleasure, nicest people, nice facilities, and terrific quick turn. Deserves all the praise it has gotten, I will definitely be back!!

Stopped in unplanned as I needed fuel. Great prices and clean convenient FBO. Will stop again if in area

As a follow up to my post from last year, I've made six trips to Farmville since then. It is one of my favorite places of the airports I go to repeatedly. I always top off the Baron's tanks there, both because the fuel prices are great, and to give them as much business as possible, even if I might not need that much fuel. On the last trip there, while enroute, I realized about halfway that I had left at home the key to my son's car that he drives over from his college for us to use to get there from the airport. We were on a pretty tight time schedule to make a game against his school's big rival. The wonderful lady at FVX, with no advance notice, allowed us to use the airport courtesy car, which we gratefully cleaned and fueled up before returning it. There are two FBO buildings. The main one closes when the airport is not attended. The other facility is in the adjacent building connected by a covered walkway a few yards to the east. It's open 24/7, with restrooms, etc.

Stopped in for a quick fuel stop on my way back to DC. If you're in the area, this is the place to stop for fuel. Cheap price, excellent service, great facility.

Outstanding FBO, flew in for lunch w/my wife, staff at the FBO was extremely nice, gave us the car for a few hours for free (one of the nicer courtesy cars I've ever been in). Cute little town about 3 miles from airport, definitely head to Charles's Waterfront cafe, real nice place, outstanding food, right on the water, decent prices, can't say enough about the place, it's a must if you're in town!

Very good service and a very good place to stop. Important note is that you have to wait a fairly long time for the fuel to begin flowing. I used the computer available for flight planning but could not get onto CSC DUATS or the FAA web page because it was blocked.

Flew in on July 1st on our way to DC. Great people and attendant helped with fuel. Nice stop and we will be back.

Stopped in for fuel and to eat the lunch we had packed. We pulled up the self-serve pump where the friendly attendant helped us with the equipment and then helped us push the plane back to a tiedown spot. While there, we also got to meet the mayor of Farmville and the A&P who works on the field. Couldn't have been a nicer set of people. The small terminal was a nice place to eat our lunch, use the restroom and check the weather with their flight planning PC. The cheap gas was nice, too.

Had a great experience at this airport and FBO earlier this month when was there with my son on a college recruiting trip for him. He has since committed to the school, so am looking forward to four years of visits to FVX for games, parents' events, etc. George, the airport manager, is a real gentleman. I missed him when we landed, but he soon called to check if I needed anything, and, when we arrived the next day, he had the tug hooked up to the Baron ready to tow it to the fuel pumps. The FBO facility is modern and well equipped, and the runway and ramps in good condition.

What can one say about a GA airport that's almost perfect? Clean, well-maintained, a wonderful snack bar (very limited hours), among the lowest gas prices anywhere, airport lineguy cheerfully pumps the self-serve gas for you. Definitely recommended.

We flew in for the day in March 2010 to go into town, to get some lunch and do some furniture and rug shopping in the historic downtown area. We were treated very well by George, the FBO manager, who pumped (reasonably priced) gas for us, and called for a ride from one of the furniture stores to come and get us. They had a snack bar there but we didn't try it. We'd go again in a heartbeat.
