Just got home from Branson West, and I was very impressed. This was my first cross-country flight as a Private Pilot and with a passenger, and the staff here made it a great one! As soon as I shut down the engine, the staff here tied my Cessna down for me so I could complete my after flight checklist. They were also very quick to getting a complementary car (free of charge by the way) so my passenger and I could go into Branson as well as providing us with maps and easy directions. I will definitely be flying into this airport again when I plan my next trip to Branson!

I have been flying into Branson almost every year for the past 3 decades and this new airport is the best thing to happen for the area and us tourists. There is only one year we did not vacation at Branson thinking we might swear off Branson forever. That was before this airport (KFWB) was constructed and it was because of the way I was treated at PLK. In case other pilots are not aware PLK will not allow you to have just anyone pick you up at the airport. They will not allow another car rental company set foot onto the airport property. This is not the case with Branson West. They seemed a little shocked when I told them how PLK treated customers. KBBG, the other "new" airport south of Branson does not have any tie down space despite their fees. KFWB has plenty of tie down spaces as well as hangar space. Their airport is very secure with the most modern facilities and nicest workers.... KFWB is my first choice for Branson and my next choice would be KHRO.

Good luck with the new operation! Awesome location, nice new facilities, 5000 ft runway. Hope to see more community events this year. Still waiting for a/c rental and flight training.
