True enough, they are quite friendly, very helpful and competent. However, the crew car is complimentary for 1 1/2 hours, then 25 bucks an hour after that. The airport is ten miles south of Longview, so unless you are going to drive to another part of the airport or one of the plant stores up the street, you are gonna pay this exorbitant rate. They did tell me about the charge in advance and needless to say, my lunch date with my daughter, who lives on the north side of the city, ran 2 1/2 hours. When I returned and inquired as to why they charged this fee, they said that the crew cars are mainly for military customers (do they pay the fee?), and some story about a pilot who got drunk and was overdue in returning the vehicle...Whatever. It seems GA is secondary to military to these guys. I wasn't feeling the GA love!

KRS is a great stop for a working pilot. Came in on short notice and they hooked me up with a hangar and a ride to the hotel very quickly. They all were very positive and helped me with all my questions and needs. I was hangared at Stebbins Aviation, which I found was not very GA friendly. KRS is the FBO of choice at KGGG.

KRS did a great job accommodating my company’s fleet for work in the area. Fueling was done promptly, service was great, and hangar was well kept. Nice facility probably will grow in the near future and should!

I fly into FBO'S all over the country. The reception and service here is as good as it gets. Clean & nice, with a new (additional) hanger being built. Built by a Pilot, for Pilots.

We have started going to KGGG on a fairly regular basis. The folks at KRS are a class act. We would not think of going anywhere else. And we get to see Shay! An absolutely, drop dead, gorgeous gal!!!

Two thumbs up and "ditto" to all the positive comments below about KRS!! I transmitted KGGG Fri noon & Sat evening, Sep 29 & 30. Fri noon, Ryan, the manager, was waiting at the self-serve fuel with chocks. (Apparently, he listens to Ground Control and is proactively waiting to serve you.) He helpfully guided my self-service re-fueling efforts. I desired to use a vehicle to go eat. Both of their vans were already out, but Shay, the lovely front desk coordinator, resourcefully arranged a ride for me. When I came back through Sat. Evening, Ryan and Shay were both off, but John, a local Letourneau University Aviation Student, was every bit as attentive and helpful. Thus, the culture of positive customer service extends across the entire staff. This is a "must stop" when transiting this part of Texas. P.S. If you like Texas-style smoked barbecue (beef brisket, turkey, sausage, etc.) drive two-three miles down Hwy 322 to Adams Rib for a sandwich or plate meal - you'll be glad you did.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! We used to go to Stebbins - last time we were there, I got to talking with the owner of KRS while eating lunch at the terminal. This time, we flew into KRS instead, and were treated like royalty. This is one FIRST CLASS OPERATION.

What a phenomenally pleasant and helpful FBO. Arrived unplanned because of weather in our Cherokee and were treated as if we fly in on a Gulfstream with empty tanks. Shay and her staff arranged for discounted lodging and gave us a beautiful rental car, which she had already started and got cooled with the air conditioner. They gave us Californians some excellent recommendations on how to experience the local color. Reasonable rates and extraordinary staff - definitely recommend a stop!

This was our first experience with KRS and it has been very positive. I called to arrange a rental minivan for our passengers and spoke to Shay. She was very helpful and when told of our requirements made our trip to GGG very pleasent. I would recommend KRS to all who travel to GGG.

This is one of our favorite stops. They treat us in our little Cheetah the same as they treat the crews in corporate jets. Luxurious facilities, friendly service, and Shay is always ready to help. Highly recommended!

I agree with Don Copley. Having been to KRS, other FBO's need to step up to the plate. So far, no one else comes close. Shay and Ryan were friendly, helpful, and very professional. Fuel prices were very reasonable, the crew car was clean, and the pilot lounge is quite comfortable. Any pilots going into Gregg County...... KRS deserves your attention.

KRS has excellent service. The lineman greeted us on the ramp and offered us refreshments inside. It was very nice and well kept inside. They were more than happy to provide a car so we could get some lunch. I look forward to going back to GGG.

After having a stater give up on my Mirage, I found ready help with the folks at KRS. Garrett provided all the help I needed to get me on my way again. I suggest rewarding this type of good service with more business!

I stopped by this past Sunday and was really impressed with this FBO. They have a very nice and clean facility. The lineman was really nice and refused a tip when after fueling us and giving me a couple of bottles of water.

We received wonderful service when we arrived in a C172 for a short stop and trip to town last week. When we returned from town, Shay even carried the car seat (for my toddler) to the plane! Everyone at KRS was friendly and helpful. If only all FBOs were run this well.

Had to divert from Tyler to Gregg County due to fog. Found Shay and Garrett to be as helpful as always. When Enterprise had no rent cars due to the Hurricanes, Shay found me a car at a good price, even without a reservation. Got ready to call and cancel my car rental in Tyler and Shay had already taken care of it for me. And as always, they put my Piper 4 seater in the hanger out of the 105 degree heat, and then pulled it into the shade when I called 10 minutes out.

Shay in the office and the guys on the line are just great at KRS! Fast turns, friendly attitudes and wonderful cookies. I'd recommend KRS over the "old school" competition any day! Fractionals, you don't know what you're missing by going to the "other place". Give them a try, you'll be glad you did. Best kept secret in Eastern TX.

Great service in all regards. Shay and Garrett very personable and treated me like family. Didn't have to ask to put my new Mirage in the hangar for my 3 hour stay in the middle of the Texas afternoon heat. I'll be back! Fuel was as promised to be $3.50 but was told it was going up on this PM's delivery.

These folks know the meaning of "customer service". During a stopover, I went into town and returned several hours later to find my plane in the hanger out of the Texas summer heat. When I told Garrett (the Manager) how pleased I was, he stated - I had some room, so I decided to get you out of the heat. Joy was also a pleasure and did everything to make my visit smooth. I will certainly be back!!
