Had to land short of my Georgia destination due to sever weather blocking our path. We were going to divert to Tuscaloosa, but there is apparently some University there that plays some football, and there would be no parking for us that Saturday! Staff was very helpful, had us parked and refueled in no time. As we waited for the weather to clear, we borrowed the courtesy car. Great stop, and highly recommended. (Also, ATC very nice and accommodating!)

Arrived Monday 6/29 and was fueled promptly and tied down. My rental car was waiting outside the FBO and everyone was courteous and prompt. Columbus ATC and GTR tower folk were friendly and very accommodating.

Stopped yesterday (Sunday 11-30) for a fuel stop. Young lineman was by himself, and busy. However, he was also very efficient, and had us fueled by the time my pax were through with the rest rooms, and a stretch. In my hurry to get out ahead of a rain storm that was almost on the field I left my Cross pen (that I've carried for 20+ years) laying on the counter when I signed the ticket. Called this morning. Debra said they had it, and would mail it to me. Nice people, good service.

Awesome turnaround. VERY friendly service on a cross country from LZU to MLU/RSN. I plan on stopping by on my next marathon trip.

Made an unexpected stop at GTR on 2/10/07 on a very cold morning. They met us at the plane and added fuel in short order. After we took care of the issue (4 year old and bathroom), we were on our way in less than 30 minutes. I will like make this a regular stop on future trip on V278.
