Got stuck for a few days here because of weather. Lara and Tony run a 1st class operation. If you run into a person named Larry you will make a friend immediately. We were treated like family by everyone there. If you have time, see the museums. They are awesome.

I arrived an hour late (past closing) only to find Laura (SP?) waiting IN the fuel truck so I could refuel and go. Talk about a quick turn! She could have gone home and turned the lights off leaving me stranded, but being a pilot herself she knows things don't go as planned and she makes every effort to accommodate. Very nice facilities, great runway & lights. I will be stopping back when I have more time! THANK YOU!

I want to thank Lara for her excellent service and personal attention to the needs of our passengers. Contrary to the gentlemen’s comments before me, we paid NO RAMP FEES with a fuel purchase! An overnight fee would be charged if we had spent the night which we would be more than happy to pay give the secure, fenced, lighted area where transient aircraft are parked. FBO's have to turn a profit in order to serve our needs...... Its just business! Thanks again for the great service!

I too, can't say enough nice things about the folks who run this airport. We stopped for the night on our way to Oshkosh about 20 minutes after the FBO had closed, but they must have been listening to us on CTAF on our way in and as soon as we cleared the runway, they called and asked if we needed fuel. Lara and Tony were great as they topped off the tanks, called a hotel for us, and provided a courtesy car to get us there! Very helpful and great service - so good, we stopped there on our way back home. I highly recommend Century Aviation!

I've been flying into Dekalb County every other month for the past year and have had nothing but the best service. Great airport with a superior FBO.

I stopped to buy fuel at Kendallville IN C62 Mar 14th and, after being ignored for a few minutes by the FBO and his buddies, decided to hop over to Auburn DeKalb GWB and try my luck there. I had barely shut down and stepped out of the airplane when the FBO walked up to me and asked if I needed anything. I told him "I would like to buy some gas from you" and he immediately went over to his truck and brought it to my airplane. I went inside to pay, and had a very pleasant conversation with both him and his wife (who is the resident flight instructor), talking about winter flying in the Midwest. Then I went back out to the airplane and flew home. I note the difference in attitude between these two FBO's so close geographically but so far apart service wise, that I will choose GWB as my fueling stop whenever I am in the NE Indiana neighborhood. By the way, there is no drinking fountain or water cooler at Kendallville (yes, there is a restroom). But Auburn DeKalb County has both . . . .
