We stopped in on the way from Oregon to Southern California. I was prepared to fly the GPS Y approach but that was not necessary as KHAF cleared up before we got there. If you are there before 5:00 pm they still have the lunch menu prices, which are significantly lower. The comments on the clam chowder are right. We each got a cup and had one order of calamari and chips and one order of prawns and chips. We were both hungry from a long flight but that was plenty. We were glad to be able to stop here. Last year when we were southbound KHAF had a 200' ceiling and we went on down to KSBA to the Beach Cafe at Goleta Beach, but that's another story...........

This is a classic "joint"...In the best sense of the word! I always try to make the walk from KHAF into town for this place!! Great very fresh fish is a very casual seaside atmosphere. Expect to wait on weekends.

Barbara's Fishtrap is one of the best places to get fish and chips around and you can fly to it. Park on the south end and you can walk right to Princeton-by-the Sea. Have fun

Cash only, so have more than a credit card with you! Best fish and chips around. Park in the south tiedowns, and there is an access gate for an easy stroll to Princeton-By-The-Sea and the restaurants.

Best fried seafood on the coast. Dress warm and eat outside to avoid the lines for an inside table.
