We dropped in at HBG after our original destination of Gulfport weathered out on us about 50 miles out. We landed at HBG (flight of 3 Canadian Aircraft!) and very shortly had Ronnie meeting us in the office, in no time at all we had 2 rental cars, all three planes hangared, fueled, and a map to get to Gulfport! We just happened to be passing through, but Ronnie and Chip made us feel at home when we were 2000 miles away from it! Thanks Guys!!

Spent $350 on fuel. Then was asked to limit use of courtesy car to a half hour. When I asked for more time to have lunch, I was offered a free hot dog in lieu of taking the courtesy car. Most FBOs allow 2-hour use of a car. The guys at Chain explained that they have only one car and that someone else (more important than me) may need the car.

I spent about 6 months in Hattiesburg while on a project and had the option of choosing either airport to become a base customer. After reading reviews here and talking to people in the area I decided to go to KHBG and could not have been more pleased with every aspect of the way the Gibson's run the FBO. Thanks guys I enjoyed my time spent there and hope to see you again someday.

Had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie on arrival and Chip on departure. Both extremely courteous and helpful. Self-serve fuel worked great and was priced fairly. Ronnie set me up with a tie down for the 4 days I was in Hattiesburg. This FBO helped make it a great trip. They get my recommendation

Chip warned me that no one likes long comments; too bad. I've been using KPIB the past few trips to Hattiesburg, not really sure why other than force of habit. Here's to breaking old habits -- try using Hattiesburg-Chain airport instead. Came in on Xmas Eve at 4:45pm to visit family, and was amazed that Ronnie was there to guide me in and open the gates for the car to load up. Personal service from the owners makes this a great place to stop. I could vouch for the maintenance shop when it was at KPIB, and good news is they are now based at KHBG. Final comment: if this place had a great airport cafe, it'd be unbeatable! Thanks to Chip and Ronnie for reminding me what Southern Hospitality is all about.

A wonderful airport and great staff. I recommend Bobby Chain to anyone going to Hattiesburg. I really can't say enough good things about the staff at the airport.

BEST PERSONAL SERVICE AND LOW FUEL PRICE!! Needed to get to airport ASAP from hotel. Only taxi in town was 2 hr wait. Called Chip's cell phone and asked for suggestions. He was there in 15 minutes to pick me up and take me to airport. Family owned business that really cares about you and your individual needs. I have never received better service anywhere!!!!!!!!!!

Refueled here SS 100LL @ $4.14 Gal, Chip came over to say hello. Even at the SS pump...Been here and returned about four times because of the clean and friendly services...Today my carburetor heat cable broke...Chip gave me shaded hangar (HOT DAY) space to fix the problem... No added charge and made sure my family was taken care of while I fixed the problem!!! Thanks Chip

I had to stop for fuel on my trip from FL to CA. We wound up at Chain Municiple and were happy we did. It's a family run airport, and Chip Gibson is a graceous host. We tanked up and downed a great hot dog, free of charge made by Chip himself. Nice facilities, great hospitality. I highly recommend HBG for any fuel stop if you're in the area.

From Jeff Mackey on 03-Apr-2007
Outstanding personnel, friendly, helpful, and expedient with getting me on the way with my Enterprise car. Fuel price for SS was OK, all in all a good stop. OVERALL GRADE: A

Great service & hospitality! Chip & Ronnie Gibson are two of the "good guys". I would highly recommend Southeast Aviation. I also stayed overnight at the La Quinta in Hattiesburg & would highly recommend that as well. Very clean & reasonably priced.

Sorry, but cannot recommend this FBO. Stopped to fuel and get some food. Charged me $10 to take car into town for less than 1hr to get sandwich after buying almost $100 of fuel.

From Norm Harney on 16-Dec-2006
Good fuel price and real southern hospitality. They had a rental car onsite for us and good recommendations for food and lodging.

From Stephen Hundley on 29-Sep-2006
These days if you don't fly based on fuel price, you're not flying smart and you're allowing the big FBO's to rip you off. The folks at Bobby Chain don't belong to the high priced gang. Flew in from Dallas before going on to Gulfport and saved a bundle. Great hosts too! We'll be back.

From Matt Raines on 19-May-2006
Some people will fly miles out of their way to save 20 cents a gallon on fuel... We will definitely fly out of our way to revisit Southeast Aviation regardless. After making a fuel stop at another airport only to find nothing available, we stopped at Bobby Chain halfway between Orlando and Austin and were greeted with true hospitality. The lineman noticed we were missing a fuel cap, and the guys there offered to loan us a cap off another airplane so we could finish our trip. Chip even made numerous calls to find people near the other airport to see if we had left our fuel cap there. We were treated like friends and I believe that professionalism can be found at even the smallest of airports. Will be sure to return on our trip back home.

From Aubie Pearman on 20-Apr-2006
Great guys!! Good service and fair prices. They will lend you a car or just get a hot dog and go. Thanks guys.

From William R. Simmons on 31-Mar-2006
Southeast Aviation was recommended by professional pilots and we were not dissapointed. We made two fuel stops and an overnight stay. The staff was very friendly and professional. We will always stop here!

From Brian Rogers on 08-Nov-2005
Friendly and prompt service is what you will find at Southeast Aviation. Facilities are older, but comfortable and clean. My only complaint is that the fueler did not have supplies to wipe down the windshield. Pay attention to the departure procedures for obstacle clearances. There are numerous towers in the area. Also if shooting an approach (as we did) verify that your approach is for HBG and not the neighboring PIB airport with the name of Hattiesburg in it as well. The NOS plates have these next to each other and it could/can cause confusion.
