I have had numerous experiences with the staff at Top Gun over the last several months. Each time I have gotten the absolute best customer service, from a simple friendly greeting to unsolicited clean windows. This is not by accident, rather, by design. I've known Chad Eirmann, the General Manager, for many years and I know his commitment to customer service. His staff reflects his commitment to his idea of what customer service should be. That's why you will be greeted with the most eager and friendly line and counter service you could envision...As I am.

Erin and the line staff from 8/5/11 were wonderful. Put our company Pilatus in the hangar as a thunderstorm passed, no charge, just for buying fuel. I disagree with any negative comments posted prior to mine. Pilots would never expect to go to a gas station and get free gas or get a rental car and not pay something. It's called a cost of doing business, just as flying your plane it consumes gas. If you don't buy you eventually run out and you sure want FBO's to be around to provide you something. Don't buy fuel, expect to pay something to cover their overhead. Go to a big airport and you will pay big prices if you don't buy fuel. Just think, you're helping keep some hard working students employed during college. Don't complain just because you want to be cheap.

Always a fantastic experience! I have stopped here many times in a King Air 90 to drop off passengers and get a quick turn on fuel. I always appreciate how extremely quick they are with the fuel. When I arrive they have 2 fuel truck and 2 lineguys standing by. My passengers weren't even off the plane yet and they were already about half way done with the fueling. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. A wonderful FBO!

I had an excellent experience with Top Gun today. Quick turn on the fuel. Cold water, fresh popcorn and coffee in the break room. The facility is very nice and the people are super! I read the previous reviews when I was looking for a fuel stop earlier in the week. I brought an aircraft from Texas to Florida for the new owner. I needed a stop about three hours away from the departure field and selected Top Gun Aviation even though they had some bad press here. Give them a chance folks, they were awesome today!

Stopped for 15 minutes to refuel and pick up some friends, price was double my previous fuel stop and I took on more fuel. Ramp fee when I'm buying 80 gallons of fuel, and I don't even get a bottle of water.Response from Chad Eiermann, General Manager, Top Gun Aviation It is not our policy to charge a ramp-fee to customers when fuel is purchased. If you purchase fuel, we DO NOT charge a ramp-fee. After researching September to October 6th, I did not find a fuel purchase for 80 gals. With a ramp-fee, nor any receipts of a ramp-fee with a fuel purchase. Mr. Couch, please contact me if you have a receipt with an 80 gal. Fuel purchase from Top Gun with a ramp-fee and I will refund the amount paid. I know our fuel is not the least expensive, however, I know for a fact our fuel is not the most expensive either. On October 6th, our AirNav.com Guaranteed Fuel price for 100LL was 5.65 per gal. After tax, our JetA 5.11 after tax. Mr. Couch, if you paid half that price at your previous stop, please let me know where so that I may get my fuel from there too because that is less than MY bulk cost delivered! Please contact me 24/7 at 985-542-0719 if you need a refund...or a bottle of water.

Self-service pump on west ramp is out of service. When it does work the pump mechanism may or may not retract easily. The ground cable does not work. The concrete is cracked and the ladder is rusted. When it rains the entire area is under 4 or 5 inches of water. Expect your feet to get wet. For such a large airport the FBO does not take care of the general aviation self service pump.Response from Jason Ball, Hammond-Northshore Regional Airport Director Charles, I understand your concern however I do not feel that AirNav would be the best source to voice it. A call to the airport manager would have been sufficient. I in no way would like Top Gun or any other business on the airfield to take the responsibility for an issue that is out of their control. The ponding effect that causes the large amount of water to collect is due to the lack of base underneath the concrete panels and since the 1940's it has been sinking down ever so slightly. The airport management is aware of this and have tried almost everything short of replacing the panels (which is in line for FAA funding) to remedy this situation. If there are ever any issues you feel could easily be handled I invite you or anyone else to please contact the airport management instead of giving our potential visitors to the Hammond area a warped image of our beautiful airport and city.

I stopped in today to pick up a small item from a friend. Was charged $20 for ten minutes on the ramp. This is a great way to alienate customers... I won't be back. Contrast: next stop was Meridian Aviation, Meridian, MS. No ramp charge (gas purchase or not), free hot dogs, ice cream and waffles, and better self serve prices than Hammond. Guess where we'll stop next time?

This is my home field. We landed on July 1 after an extended 8-day trip. When I tried to fill up at the SS pump the lineman told me that all the phone lines were out and my credit card could not be used. Chad from Top Gun was there and offered to take my card to the other side of the field and use their phone lines to validate the card and they fueled me from the full service truck. He only charged me the self-serve price. They were on top of the problem and did a good job of servicing the customers.

Very nice FBO! Friendly and reasonable. Didn't use many of the services, but they have all the amenities that you would find in a large chain style FBO but at reasonable prices and friendly service. A GREAT STOP!

Stopped in for low price fuel. Easy in and out. Nice FBO terminal building relatively close to self serve pumps. Thanks for helping to keep flying cost down.

Just moved my 182 from Ohio to Hammond Airport this week and this was my first time to fuel up. The self-service operation on the west side of the field is wonderful. Everything worked, the comments on the self-service machine were helpful, and the price was great. Not a problem.
