Visited Top Gun Aviation on 10/5/13 and the experience was great! Tori was working the front desk and took care of everything we needed. She's probably one of the nicest people I've ever met working the front desk at an FBO and she is to be commended for her excellent customer service. Thanks again and we will definitely come back.

I call ahead to let Ava know I'm coming in and need a car for clients, and she handles all the arrangements, even when there are not too many cars available! She, Ava, Chad, and all off the crew there are of the utmost Professional, and I would positively recommend Top Gun Aviation as one of the best FBO crew on any airport in the country

Traveling with the CEO to Tallahassee and made a pit stop at Hammond. Very pleasantly welcomed with cold water, quick service and smiles all around. Ava took extra special care of us providing a crew car and directing us to a wonderful place for lunch. Service was so good we made it a point to stop on the way back and repeat the whole thing.

Top Gun Aviation is definitely TOP NOTCH! Chad and his line guys are amazing! Ava and Brook greet you with a smile as they hold the door open for you when you walk in their facility! This says a lot about the FBO and its people!! I flew in to Hammond with our companies King Air on April 25th for an overnight and they helped unload the bags and get our passengers off and running without delay. They even had our rental car ready for us before I even stepped off the aircraft. Simply AMAZING service!! Our aircraft was fueled as requested and not a drop of fuel spilled. They even went to the effort to clean our aircrafts windows without asking! I think that some of the bigger FBO's I've been to can take a lesson in customer service from Chad and his great group of employees! Keep up the outstanding work!!

A planned stop at the self serve at KHDC from St. Pete, FL to Houston, TX on Friday, April 26, was met by a smiling young gentleman in the avgas truck offering to top off my 54 year old Bonanza for the self serve price. The aircraft was professionally serviced, he took the credit card across the field for processing and returned with a Top Gunn t-shirt and a bottle of cold water. First class treatment for this old "freight dog" and first class service from some first class folks. Thank you Top Gunn!

Flew in from 2L0 on Good Friday, March 29. Greeted on Unicom right after touchdown and then met on ramp. Everyone was extremely helpful, nice, and professional. Great facility and very much enjoyed the hospitality. Will be back again!

Stopped in on our way to and from Disney (wife and daughter). Both times service was great! Car waiting on us, they set us up at a great B&B in town. Highly recommended!

A Great experience. Gave me self serve price and could not be nicer or more accommodating. Chad is the man who met me on the ramp and told me about their famous muffalata shop nearby. He went and got me an ice-cold coke while I paid my fuel bill. This place is top notch and they want you to become a regular. They treat military like family as well. Been here in both military and civilian capacities. Always a pleasure to stop here.

Superb fuel stop. They could not have been more hospitable. I will make a point to stop by again when I am anywhere near and borrow the courtesy car that was offered to get some of that outstanding local Cajun cuisine. Oh yea, very reasonable fuel prices, a very nice, clean facility and great people.

This was one of our very best experiences in my 2,000 hours of flying. We had called ahead a day or so to get airport information. When we arrived, we were met by two linemen and a lovely receptionist who walked out to our plane to greet us. A nice car was left running in front of the FBO ready for us to drive to town. Their recommendation of the Tope La restaurant was fantastic! As we were getting ready to leave, they came out to wish us a good flight. We had a little trouble locating the self-serve, and they sent someone over to help. While there, they even cleaned our windows. Service well beyond expectations. Thanks folks!

I had the best experience with Top Gun Aviation while my plane was hangared there for hurricane Isaac. Chad and the gals are wonderful. They kept me up to date while the plane was there for 10 days. I cannot thank them enough for how they assisted me when I needed to relocate my plane.

First time visit. Good to see the old fashion way of doing business. Nice people and a nice place to wait on my client. I felt at home with the staff that was eager to help. Fuel prices are average. I will make this a routine stop.

Top Gun is a fabulous FBO! Chad, Ava and the rest of the crew were on the ball at all times for us, starting with parking the plane and giving my wife the red carpet treatment (literally). Because the weather was so unpredictable, they informed us that they were putting our plane in their hangar until we decided what we wanted to do. Ava asked us what kind of food we liked, and then directed us to an excellent Cajun restaurant. At lunch, we reviewed weather data and decided we should spend the night. Ava told us she could make our reservations for us and gave us several options, then booked it while we pulled gear from the plane in the hangar. All we had to do was give the hotel our name, and we had the key and room #. Top Gun gave us the crew car for the rest of the day, and then had our plane pulled out and fueled up when we arrived at 7 the next morning. Now THAT is service! If we ever need to go to New Orleans or Baton Rouge, we are going back to Top Gun.

I cannot praise these people enough! As we pulled up they had a cute girl in a dress and cowboy boots marshall us. Chad the FBO manager greeted us as soon as the door was opened. They hangared our aircraft without us asking and didn't charge for it. Chad runs a top notch operation and we will definitely be back again if not only for the great southern hospitality. Don't even bother going to the other FBO on the field. They have everything you need here and the girls are all beautiful and professional as well.

Great service and facilities. Landed after getting clouded out on an aerial survey mission and I was greeted upon opening the aircraft door with red carpet. The entire staff was friendly. Chad, who runs the place will help you out with anything you need. Latoya will direct you to a great little BBQ joint, (and let you use the courtesy van) and the front desk personnel are also extremely friendly. Great pilot lounge and lobby. Will stop back the next chance I get!

I have been using TOP GUN AVIATION for the last 7 months. If I could rate them ten stars I would. This is THE BEST FBO I have had the pleasure of working with. I fly in about 4 times a month and the service is impeccable! No where else have I seen everyone from the line guy to the manager provide an experience where to this day I still wonder if they are for real. Several line guys routinely meet my plane before I pull up, Chad the manager personally comes out to greet me with a warm hand shake, a request for anything he could do for me, or an apology because he wasn't there before I had my engines stopped. And I know he is busy and can't always be there. The employees at the desk mimic this great service with warns smiles and helping attitudes for anything you might need. If the fuel cost more...I'll pay it for quality service like this. It reminds me of a gas station from the 50's. Fuel, windshield cleaning, oil filling, cold drink of water, friendly employees. An amazing place.

I'm based at KHDC and have been a long time customer of Top Gun. As a supporter of GA, I try to give business to everyone on the field so when a new FBO opened I began buying fuel from both – even though Top Gun's self-serve is often higher priced than the other guy's full-service. Got a hangar site visit and a call to my office by the manager asking me to explain myself for using a competitor. Next I received a bill for using an airport gate and a space in their parking lot - $150 a month backdated to the beginning of the year! Really? Instead of wooing me back as a valued customer I feel as though I got a "retaliation charge." (Also finding it a bit curious that over-the-top reviews appear to be posted here after the other FBO arrived). You won't find a bigger fan of Top Gun's employees but their management has the wrong priorities. My advice: be a cautious consumer here.Response from Chad Eierman, General Manager, Top Gun Aviation Herb, you got a visit to ask what we did wrong to lose your business--not to ask you to "explain yourself" for going to our competitor. Not true. You said everything's great, wanted to "see the airport grow". You stopped doing business with us in January yet you continued using our facility. I allowed it for two months hoping you would continue doing business with us but you didn't. Yeah really I did send you a bill for the use of our private facility. Your SUV, wife's car, father-in-law's truck used it every day. Our facility is for OUR customers. You decided not to be a customer and now the negative comment--a "retaliation" post. Our customers give "over the top reviews" because we give "over the top" service. Come over have a cup of coffee and ask them for yourself! My priorities: make MY customers happy and not go broke in the process. Advice: don't take something for nothing, and then get mad because you have to start paying for it. How does that make the airport "grow"?

Our company uses the services of Top Gun Aviation on at least a monthly basis. Chad and his team provide a customer service experience that is BETTER THAN ANY FBO I've visited, large or small. Everyone at Top Gun is friendly and efficient. No detail is ever overlooked at Top Gun. I'd recommend Top Gun to anyone traveling to the Hammond/New Orleans area.

Top Gun Aviation is one of, if not THE best FBO's around. The service is top notch and would rival any major FBO chain. Chad, keeps a great group of employees who are always willing to go the extra mile to insure your stay is one that will keep you coming back. Everything from the time you pull up to the ramp is all about quality service. From rental cars being delivered planeside, to help with luggage these guys are top notch! If Hammond is your destination or just a fuel stop, Top Gun is the only FBO to consider. We fly into HDC monthly and have always had a pleasant experience at Top Gun. Currently flying a Beechjet 400A. By the way, the food in the area can't be beat! Take the crew car and sample a little...Or a lot!

I've been traveling regularly to Hammond every week. The staff of Top Gun is the best I've seen around in a long time. I always get my windshield cleaned without even asking for it. Chad is always trying to make sure we get everything we need including hangar space when available as well as courtesy vehicles. I fly all over the country and I can personally tell you this is one of the finest outfits out there!

Impressed. Top Gun Aviation is top of the line. My company has made it a point to use their services anytime we are in the area. The staff is VERY helpful and accommodating. After flying all day it was great to be greeted by smiling, friendly people that seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. The facility is top notch, and anything you need weather you're staying overnight or just refueling is at your disposal. Chad is THE man and will be sure you’re taken care of in anyway. I look forward to stopping in at Top Gun again on my next trip to the area. GREAT place... 10+ Stars

Probably one of the best smallest FBO's I have ever experienced.... The entire staff went out of their way to give us the best service possible. If only the big FBO's can provide this type of service... Fuel prices were very fair. Great Experience!!!!! Hope to come back..

I have had numerous experiences with the staff at Top Gun over the last several months. Each time I have gotten the absolute best customer service, from a simple friendly greeting to unsolicited clean windows. This is not by accident, rather, by design. I've known Chad Eirmann, the General Manager, for many years and I know his commitment to customer service. His staff reflects his commitment to his idea of what customer service should be. That's why you will be greeted with the most eager and friendly line and counter service you could envision...As I am.

Erin and the line staff from 8/5/11 were wonderful. Put our company Pilatus in the hangar as a thunderstorm passed, no charge, just for buying fuel. I disagree with any negative comments posted prior to mine. Pilots would never expect to go to a gas station and get free gas or get a rental car and not pay something. It's called a cost of doing business, just as flying your plane it consumes gas. If you don't buy you eventually run out and you sure want FBO's to be around to provide you something. Don't buy fuel, expect to pay something to cover their overhead. Go to a big airport and you will pay big prices if you don't buy fuel. Just think, you're helping keep some hard working students employed during college. Don't complain just because you want to be cheap.

Always a fantastic experience! I have stopped here many times in a King Air 90 to drop off passengers and get a quick turn on fuel. I always appreciate how extremely quick they are with the fuel. When I arrive they have 2 fuel truck and 2 lineguys standing by. My passengers weren't even off the plane yet and they were already about half way done with the fueling. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. A wonderful FBO!

I had an excellent experience with Top Gun today. Quick turn on the fuel. Cold water, fresh popcorn and coffee in the break room. The facility is very nice and the people are super! I read the previous reviews when I was looking for a fuel stop earlier in the week. I brought an aircraft from Texas to Florida for the new owner. I needed a stop about three hours away from the departure field and selected Top Gun Aviation even though they had some bad press here. Give them a chance folks, they were awesome today!
