Stopped for quick fuel stop going east. Didn't see anyone but the fuel was great price. Small building with bathroom and lockbox with keys for courtesy car, (we didn't use it). For us, quick well priced fuel with a bathroom. Just what we wanted.

Easy in and out, great fuel price. Quiet airport. Courtesy cars available see the lockbox on the desk in the office.

Holyoke is a nice airport with "cheap" 24-hour self-serve fuel, plus loaner cars. You have to call the sheriff to get the lock-box code for the loaner car keys, but he is very friendly. He even drove out to the airport when the first code he provided didn't work. There are several restaurants in town, but most were closed on the Sunday we were there. Subway was open, and they sell ice cream at this location so that was nice!

I landed at Holyoke for a fuel and weather-related stop. After landing on and taxiing down RW 14 I first thought there were no services available, but it turns out they are all accessible via a taxiway NW of the approach end of 14. I'm not sure why AirNav lists it as "Assisted Serve" because the self-fuel was usable with no assistance (although we did meet Art Scholl's 2nd cousin and 4 geese). There is a small office with a fast wireless Internet connection. In the office there's a steel box with a combination lock and a phone number on it. Call the number, they give you the combination, and inside are keys to the 3 airport cars, and you can take one and drive the 1-mile into town for lunch at the Subway.
