Well, this was sad news. I called ahead to make sure they would be open on a Sunday afternoon. Don Parker told me he hasn't worked at the airport since the first of February and he said, "You should consider it 'unattended.'"

Friendly stop, loved the crew car, and had some most excellent BBQ just in town (hang a left, you won't miss it)

Flew in awhile back in a Cessna 421, felt like we just landed in a Gulfstream, with Donald Trump on board. The service was great, we got to borrow the car, and the plane was Hangared. I think we're fixing to open an Office up out there, so hopefully we will be returning more often. Airports with Service and Kindness you will only find at small town airports like these. Thanks Again!

What an awesome airport! Since Don and Jane Parker took over this airport, it has become a real jewel! Before, it was somewhat rundown, but WOW what a complete and total turnaround! Improvements include new credit card fueling equipment, new pilot's lounge complete with clean restroom, refreshments, TV, and computer for weather, well manicured grounds, clean runways and taxiways, and the list goes on and on. The best improvement of all is the incredible, friendly hospitality that this couple brings to our aviation community. Thanks Don and Jane for all you are doing for us! You'll be seeing us often!

This is an outstanding place to stop for fuel, and from what I've heard, a meal or overnight. Don and Jane (Happy Birthday, Jane), you are really great folks and we will be stopping here again as soon as we can! Maybe we can FedEx a Hegenburger to you!

Stopped by twice last week and was so impressed with Don and Jane! Cheap gas, clean facilities, loaner car and great hospitality. Ask for directions to some of the best BBQ in the Texas! We'll be back and we're bringing more (Red Star) friends!

What a GREAT experience! Only Mr. and Mrs. Parker could make a gas stop enjoyable and THEY DID! My two ship of warbirds stopped for gas on Wednesday and enjoyed the fuel and go so much came back again on Sunday! Great FBO, great fuel prices and great service! I will be back!

Stopped at Hemphill County twice over Labor Day weekend. Don and His wife could not have been nicer. My kids were impressed with the welcome mat as they deplaned. Fuel is the cheapest around and the runways and pilot lounge are well above average. The Texas panhandle is full of good places to stop. This one in now the best.

Stopped at Hemphill Co. (Canadian) TX en route home from Oshkosh for low fuel price of $4.25 for 100LL. Big surprise was the town and an overnight stay at one of Kim's Bed and Breakfast houses. Good eating at the Cattle Exchange in town and a friendly airport manager Don Parker who provided us with the courtesy car for the night. Will stop and stay here again.

Stopped here on the way home from OSH. It is a friendly small-town airport with good gas prices. Courtesy car is available.

Stopped for fuel on cross country from Clarendon, TX to Lincoln, NE. The Manager and his team were very helpful. The fueling equipment appeared new. The fuel was priced well ($4.25/g 100LL). We will be stopping again. Thanks Don!

This airport is under new management. Mr. Don Parker gave super service. They now take all types of credit cards. Best fuel prices in the area. Will stop again soon.

Gas was $4.25 a gallon. There was an old stair stepladder that was a pain to lug around, and a manual hose rewind reel, ugh. I had to wait about 15 minutes for the sheriff to get out there. They only take cash / check, no change. I'll stop somewhere else next time.
