We landed here due to weather on the way to McAlester to wait out the approaching thunderstorms. Four hours. We secured the plane with their provided tiedown. We were welcomed at the FBO and handed a key to the courtesy car to drive into town. We had lunch at Subway. There are also several BBQ places and an Italian restaurant. Wal-Mart is at the east end of town. There is a Train Depot Museum worth a visit on the west side of town. Self-service fuel pumps are near the FBO. Hugo turned out to be a great unintended stop. We enjoyed our short visit. Thank you.
