Terrible service today...But every organization has a hiccup sometimes. My *CLIENT* and I wished to look at the latest Controller, so I stopped by, as I've done often, to pick up a copy. 8:00 pm today; the front desk lady was courteous. Asked if I were a pilot. I am. She asked either a lineman or fuel hander. She wasn't sure. (DRUM ROLL) This gray haired gentleman informed me CONTROLLER magazine (located in the PILOT'S Lounge) are for passengers! OK, so I learned all the previous front desk attendants have been wrong for allowing a pilot to receive a copy of the magazine. Apologizes for maybe compromising staff who allowed me a copy of the magazine. Maybe I'll simply wait until they discard the magazine? Or do what I did. Drove down the street to the "other" FBO and picked one up from another front desk attendant. Perhaps I'll recommend "others" go down the street for flight services? Controller magazines - strictly for passengers. Wow, pilots can't read. We simply look at the pictures.

My first trip to Hobby was on April 8th. I emailed each FBO to inquire about prices. 2 facilities returned my call. Carmen told me that she/Atlantic would work hard to earn my business. While Atlantic was competitive in regards to pricing, that isn't why I am recommending them. If you want THE BEST attention to customer service, go to Atlantic! On my second trip, it was to pick up a very ill family member. I discussed the special needs of the flight and Carmen, Larry and the rest of the crew demonstrated a level of customer service and care that is very unusual in today’s world. Don't make the mistake of not using Atlantic at Hobby! And a very special thanks from the McWhorter family to the second shift crew!

I am not one to post very often for reviews, but the service that I received from the folks at Atlantic Aviation in HOU definitely warranted taking my time to write one. It's hard to convey these types of things, because it's the same ole jargon. Anybody taking the time to read this will understand where I am coming from. We can all tell right away from the first phone call, how the stop at HOU is going to go and how much we need to double check things to make sure that our passengers and ourselves will be taken care of. Let me just say that I had COMPLETE confidence that the arrangements I made with Carmen on the phone would be taken care of to a "T"! This was our first visit to this Atlantic and we are completely sold on this location. Thank you to all that helped make us look good with our stop in HOU and a special thank you to Carmen. You are "first class" and your professionalism and attention to detail are second to none!!

$120 dollars a night to park your King Air on the ramp. Need I say anything else?

The CSR`s at this location are some of the best in the business. Kena, Carmen, Mary, Trish are all very friendly and helpful when it comes to hotels, car rentals, catering, etc.... Rebecca the concierge has helped me out several times by arranging services at other Atlantic locations that we seldom visit. If you are going to visit the area, contact Rebecca. She will take very good care of all your FBO needs.
