I can't say enough about how great Wilson Air is. My wife and I arrived just after 9pm, and our rental car was waiting for us right outside the plane when we parked. They did a wonderful job coordinating with Hertz, as I have a corporate rate with Hertz. The facilities are comfortable, and there are plenty of computers. Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be using Wilson Air during our next visit to Houston!

I think I just found the best FBO in the US! Wilson was perfect! They delivered two cars to the airstair of the plane. Line boy gave me his personal cell number and suggested I call with any questions about where to eat or for directions. Handwritten personal Thank You card upon arriving home. Geez.... does it get better than this? I don't think so! It's guys like this that will eventually (and hopefully) put Signature out of business!

A follow up to my most recent comment concerning this FBO. Apparently someone there is genuinely concerned. I received a call today (11/2/07) from the customer service manager who seemed genuinely concerned that we had had an unpleasant experience at their facility. Perhaps everyone just had a bad day and the benefit of the doubt may be in order.

Selected this FBO on a visit to Houston based on other comments. Had to ask myself if this was the same place. In over thirty-five years of flying have never experienced the "don't give a damn" attitude and incompetence that this FBO displayed. Arrived evening of 10/27/07. Ordered fuel top off - all tanks. Had requested a rental car. Car was there but it took half an hour to find the contract. Arrived for departure next day, late afternoon. No one had fueled the airplane. Instead of some apology, lady at the line desk argued with me - suggesting that I had not requested fuel. When that issue was put to rest, she had the temerity to ask if I wanted fuel. Duh????? After sitting around waiting for these people to fuel the aircraft, we finally got around to leaving - only to find out that only two of four tanks had been fueled. Rather than waste any more time on this dog and pony show, we just left. We will not be returning to this FBO!

I had a good experience with a weekend stay. The lineman placed the red carpet at our Cherokee's door and helped with the luggage. Wilson provided a shuttle ride to the passenger terminal for the SuperShuttle ride into downtown Houston (they don't provide a shuttle that far into town). The $20/day ramp fee is waived for the first day if fuel is purchased. We returned in the rain, and they shuttled us to the plane. Not bad pricing for a big city facility.

I flew my 182 to Hobby airport and used Wilson. I called ahead (mid-morning) to reserve a rental car. When I arrived about 7 pm, they met me at the plane with the car, red carpet, and an offer to help with luggage. The staff and linemen were almost overly helpful, both on arrival and departure. I simply could not ask for more. I will definitely stop there on my next trip to Hobby. My only request would be for them to make their tie down fees and policies obvious. FYI, tie down fee is $25/nt, waived with min fuel purchase (10 gal for my 182). Indoors storage is more ($35?/nt) and not waivable. BTW, this was my first foray into Houston Class B. It was easy. Controllers were helpful and the traffic was not bad.

Arrived in Houston at around 2 am and was greeted by two gentlemen who offered us some coffee and a courtesy car to use to go get some food. Gave us directions on the nearest places to eat and our Seminole was fueled and ready to go when we arrived back. Very clean and comfortable FBO with WSI and very comfortable lounge chairs. Would not hesitate to stop by again on my next visit.

What can I say--It's a Wilson Air, folks! Good staff with a great facility as always. WA at KHOU has especially cheap fuel--even cheaper if you have CAA, Colt, etc.--they take all the discount programs it seems.

I've used Enterprise Jet in the past and they've treated me well, however I've read the reviews in the trade journals about Wilson and always wondered if they really were as good as the reviews said. In a nutshell, you bet. Great people and great service. Best wash my airplane has had in a long time by the line staff. For sure on my list for the next time at KHOU.

Brand new facilities (opened last Tuesday Apr 4), nothing more, nothing less. First time in Houston area and I'm very happy with my FBO choice, good fuel prices, good hangar fee, nice line staff. Very highly recommended. The best part, is just 100 feet from customs.

Spent the day with the Wilson Air folks a couple weeks ago. Haven't been to an FBO where every employee went out of their way to help as much as these fine folks. They were just getting ready to move to the new building next door too, so things should be just that much nicer!

Flew our Piper Seneca to Houston for the weekend and chose Wilson as our FBO both because of their low fuel prices and positive comments from friends of mine, but we were worried about a "major renovation" under way. We were extraordinarily pleased with Wilson. The construction work did not disturb airplane or customer operations in any way, the fuel was nearly $0.15 cheaper than advertised (we paid $3.70/gallon), and the service was fantastic. Everyone from Matt Wilson (Marketing Manager) to Kendra and Camille at the front desk to Jonathan on the line, positively everyone, was a joy to work with: professional, courteous, and just darned nice. Most pleased, and we'll certainly be back.

Arrived for an overnight and decided to try Wilson Air Center. Enterprise cars on premises. Desk staff was most helpful and fixed me up with a nice close-by hotel at discounted rates. Line crew was on the spot and helpful. Well run operation. Facilities are under renovation, but still functional and comfortable. Excellent fuel prices too. Why get gouged across the field when everything you need is right here.

I have stopped at Fletcher twice in the past two weeks. I will be back next week as well. I initially chose the FBO due to fuel prices...they are currently at 2.89 for Jet A with Best Aero. I operate a small corporate Cheyenne and am always on the look out for a good fuel deal, especially post Katrina. (Though I hate to call 2.89 a good deal!) To be honest, the services at Fletcher are just above mediocre. Their building is spartan, the front office staff is not well informed, and their line service lacks a bit. Overall, however, they are quite pleasant and do what they can to help out. I have culled "cheap fuel" FBO's in the past, but I don't put Fletcher in this category. If you care about saving money and don't need all the comforts of a mega FBO, give Fletcher a try.

Excellent courteous service, including help with the bags, plus the cheapest/gal at HOU. No wonder Wilson Air bought them.
