The other writer's comments about excessive fees are accurate. Today, July 30, 2009 I parked and asked the linetech what the parking fee was. He said he didn't know. I went into the FBO to register was told the ramp fee for my Cessna Skylane 182 was $100-. I left. This FBO makes it clear they do not want GA on their ramp. Signature, right next door was $28- the fee was waived with a fuel purchase, and I was offered popcorn, cookies, coffee, etc. By a very pleasant staff. The choice is obvious!

Called 5/30/09, planning a 7-night stop at HPN in a Beech Sierra (single engine 4 seat prop), to ask about fees. Was told the ramp fee would be $125 a day, and they have no tiedowns. I commented that the high fee suggests that they are trying to discourage small planes, and the guy said, "I think so." Subsequent calls told me that Panorama and Million Air charge $25 a night.

The new facilities are awesome and a 500% improvement over the old dump. It’s right next to the airline terminal, which has a great restaurant upstairs. Excellent computer room for flt planning and Internet.

The new facility is very nice. There is now a nice pilot lounge and separate snooze room. Very professional looking place - no traipsing through the hangar to get to the ramp anymore. Very nice.

What a dump! They won't even waive the 'handling' fee for other 'Landmark based' aircraft (yes, I checked with 5 different employees). Crew amenities are lacking at best. Snooze room is nothing but. Snooze room shares a (paper thin) wall with the hangar and all of the noise from the 'front desk' and telephones get funneled/amplified right into the 'snooze room.' Employees are the loudest talking bunch I've ever heard. At least I caught up on all of their gossip & business while trying to snooze. Try another FBO on field ... Some of the most expensive fuel on field, $75 handling fee (for a Dulles Landmark based aircraft), loud, uncomfortable. :-(

Utilized Landmark to pick up a passenger and it is definitely not the place for a SE piston airplane. The facility fee was waived as I am based with Landmark elsewhere, but the FBO was lacking in amenities. Linemen were nice enough, but it was made clear that my Mooney did not belong.

If your aircraft doesn't have turbines on the side, don't waste your time with this FBO. They are not interested in us little guys and will make sure you know it. I was picking someone up there and they totally ignored me on the radio. I know this because the person I was picking up (also a pilot) was inside watching them ignore me. Then when they did acknowledge my existence, they paid no attention to what I was saying and gave me incorrect directions because of it. I ended up making my own space on their apron so I wouldn't get swallowed up by a 737 on the taxiway. Finally, someone on a golf cart came out and marshaled me in between two jets and pointed where to go. Next time, I think I'll go to Panorama based on the reviews here.
