Excellent operation! Was in for fuel in one of our Twin Comanche’s and had electrical issues. They pulled us in the hangar, charged up our battery, lent us a handheld GPS and Comm radio, and sent us on our way- after refusing to accept payment for services!

Flew in today with my granddaughter and wife to visit the Cosmosphere. What a great bunch of people at Wells Aircraft. Drove us over to the Cosmosphere and were back to pick us up within 10 minutes of calling when we were done. We'll be back many more times in the future.

The guys at Wells Aircraft are awesome! I lost an alternator on a Saturday night and landed at Hutchinson with a dead battery an hour after Wells was supposed to have been closed. Fortunately a lineman, Troy, was just closing up and took the time to help us tie down, arrange for service the next day, get a hotel, and he even offered to give us a ride to the hotel. When I called at 0800 Jim and Danny had already pulled the plane in the hangar and was working on it. Don, the company president, provided great advice and help to allow us to limp the remaining 1300NM home on just battery power, he even used his own truck to give us a jump start to help us conserve the battery. What I thought was the worst part of my cross country, losing an alternator at night and being stranded in KS, turned out to be the best part of the trip! The guys at Wells Aircraft are awesome, I highly recommend landing there!

Was there for the state fair and to see some friends. This is my kind of FBO. They get to the point and are friendly. For example, park here and let me know if you need anything (no hovering over you while you try to unload). Like it so much I'm going back to Wells for interior work in a few months.

We spent a week in Hutchinson for the Short Wing Piper Club convention and were very happy with the service we got from the line crew at Wells. They were friendly, were able to tell us where things were in town and even had bug spray handy when my eight-year-old daughter was getting "attacked" by mosquitoes. The Wells crew was also most hospitable when a couple dozen of us were weathered in and hung out in the FBO building for hours on end. Thanks!

Had a great visit at the end of July. The Staff was wonderfully helpful with a courtesy car, hotel recommendations, and directions to the Cosmosphere. A great stop, and a fine restaurant on the field to boot.

Again, a good, quick and friendly turn around. Unfortunately, the buffet restaurant wasn't open (Saturday around noon) but the facilities were clean and inviting.

Wells Aircraft FBO provided excellent fueling and tie-down service. Clean bathrooms in terminal. Stopped for famous Sunday lunch buffet at Airport Steakhouse. It was better than advertised. Buffet for two was $24, included tips.

First class service. Lent me a PT Cruiser crew car to drive into town for a burger while they topped off my tanks. Very friendly. Wish all FBOs were as nice.

Was part of the SWPC convention and Wells done a very good and friendly job of welcoming all of us. The airport and FBO were first class.

On behalf of all the Short Wing Piper pilots and passengers during our convention visit June 22 through July 2, 2007, I wish to thank you for your friendly, prompt, courteous, knowledgeable service. The line boys were great and your office help most hospitable and friendly. Your hospitality helped soothe the frustrations of our weather delays. PS. I finally got dried out after returning to Arizona.

Wow! Great service! I pulled up on the ramp in a Kitfox homebuilt and felt as if I were getting the VIP treatment. The airplane didn't restart due to a small problem, (after the tanks on the plane were filled with 100 LL and my stomach tank at the delicious lunch buffet was filled) and they let me push it inside a hangar and loaned me some tools to fix the problem. Wells Aviation is a first class operation with some very courteous and helpful folks working there. I plan to make KHUT a regular destination.

Serviced our C-182 like it was a Citation. Flew in Monday mid day. The line man guided us in and quickly topped us off. Even offered a discount coupon at the buffet restaurant in the terminal building. This discount ended up being a "free lunch" for my wife and I since we ate so light. We made a very quick (for us) lunch and fuel stop of one hour. Nice lounge but never did find the telephone to the FSS, had to use my cell phone. All considered, a great place to stop.

No PC weather, but plenty of space to sit down and plan with a phone. Not a bad stop with 3 runways and a tower.

Line crew seems to have improved over last year. Nice attentive folks who helped oil my radial engine without fuss. Weather available on PC across hall from lounge in "Pilot Briefing" room. Hard to find until you see it. Restaurant has funky hours so call ahead. Everybody from Cessnas to turbines treated equally well. Great experience this year over last and I will return again.
